"The location is great with access to the Main Street district. Everything is walkable. The bed and room were comfortable. Old, but clean. It is inn from the 1880s after all. I found the multiple access codes to be off-putting (front door, room). and then a key works, but then I didn’t get a key for other things. It gets a bit tedious. There is very little front desk support. It is closed most of the time. You have to call a number for assistance. There is ample free parking, but at first it is not clear where you can park. I would stay here again, but you need to be aware of the nuances. The proximity to the Main Street district is what makes it invaluable. There are only a couple of places to stay that have this location."
GASLIGHT COTTAGE - Downtown Hendersonville

"I had a wonderful 11-night stay at Gaslight Cottage. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room. It’s also very conveniently located to downtown Hendersonville, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.The kitchen was very well equipped, the living room was cozy and inviting, and the spacious primary bedroom made it especially comfortable for a longer stay. The cottage had everything I needed and was a great place to call home for nearly two weeks.The only thing I would mention for future guests is that the driveway and carport are narrow. I have a 2026 Honda CR-V, and it was a tight fit getting into the carport, so anyone traveling with a larger vehicle may want to keep that in mind. You can use the driveway; you just may not be able to squeeze into the carport. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gaslight Cottage and would happily recommend it."

"This is a very cute older home in a great neighborhood. It lived easily with just three of us and yet was able to hold 5 more people when my grandchildren ended camp. The one reminder is that this is an older home with older wiring. Be prepared to be inventive with today's multiple electronic devices. But..that's a small issue and the house was perfect for us!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is fantastic and so completely authentic and rustic, which is just what we love! We would definitely stay there again. We so loved the sweet birds on the porch - watching them going and coming from their birdhouses! It rained just about the entire time we were there, but that is something we have no control over."
