"We have stayed at this beautiful riverfront home for several years, and this was another wonderful visit. Sitting on the porch and listening to the water go by, seeing deer on our walks along the quiet lane in the evening, watching the mist rise from the river in the mornings - it is instant relaxation and restores my soul. Several times we drove above the Shallowford Bridge and dropped off tubers in our group, who floated down the river and walked out right at the house - so convenient. The house is large, with room for everyone to spread out for their own quiet time, and the dining table sits 10 or more when everyone is together. Beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked and large enough for multiple cooks. And there is a cool pantry/bar/coffee room with a second full-size fridge and great storage. Dogs are allowed with a fee, and there is a fenced back yard. Dee has thought of everything and set up this mountain home perfectly for a great riverfront vacation!"
