McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres
Your worries will fall by the wayside as you drive down North Bank Road. The trees fold over the road and the road simplifies to a one paved lane as you near this property. You will turn off the road onto a gravel drive, wind past the 'glass pond' and roll up to the cabin on a generous circular drive.
The sweet cabin awaits you! The robust McKenzie River roars past the cabin and you can almost reach out and touch the river from the deck. Throw open the huge sliding door and enjoy being on the river while tucked inside this sweet cabin. Tons of sunshine pours in from the three skylights in the living area, and if it is too much in the summer months, draw the automatic blinds and cool the deck with an automatic awning.
This well-appointed cabin is less than three miles from Tokatee Golf Course. Enjoy dinner out at two restaurants where N. Bank meets the highway, one with tantalizing brisket and the other with a lovely live music venue. Clear Lake, Sahalie Falls, Lost Lake and Belknap Hot Springs are all nearby. After a days adventure, come home and barbeque on the deck. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking fun.
This cabin is great for a solitary weekend of introspection, an intimate weekend getaway for weary travelers, or a playful weekend for a small family. We have provided a generous dog run if you cannot leave your four-legged family members behind.
the high speed reliable wireless internet will keep you in touch (if you must) and the Spectrum cable stations with stepped up sports channels will not disappoint the most avid fans.

My husband and I did a 3 day getaway here and it’s everything we needed and more. The sound and access to the river is wonderful, so much natural light and a nice little wood stove.
Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The view of the McKenzie River was amazing just steps from water. The reason for our stay was to meet our first Grandchild. Family lives near by and recommended this cabin. We will definitely stay here again. Wonderful memories!!
The river cabin was clean, full of light and had all the necessary amenities. The deck and sound of the river was a huge bonus, as was the quiet neighborhood where we rode bikes to the general store and could easily access MTB trails, hikes and hot springs.
Tree covered, quiet and cozy stay. Very peaceful property right next to river. Loved that we could see the river from inside the living area/kitchen. Nice deck to hangout on Great kitchen setup. Very comfy main bedroom. Wonderful stay.
A beautiful place to relax! We did day trips to the various areas and saw beautifully diverse scenic places and then relax by the river in the green forest.
My boyfriend and I LOVED this property! It really is perfect getaway! They were well stocked with everything you could think of! The view is fabulous! There is plenty to do nearby! We will be coming back in the summer! Thank you!!!
Location of the property was perfection! Loved saying hello to the house as we passed by down the river. House was very clean, well stocked and perfect place to relax with the family. Thank you! We will be back for our next trip
What a beautiful property in which to wind down and relax for a few days. The kitchen was well stocked with all the important utensils, the bed was very comfortable, the deck was fantastic to sit with a glass of wine and watch the rafters going by on the river. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Can’t wait for the next visit.
Very private and remote home in the middle of the forest with the river right in your backyard - this is just what we were looking for, and it worked out great. the sound of the river is loud and soothing 9just like white noise).
This property is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen and throughout the house. Right on the McKenzie River and close to so many outdoor activities! Communication with the host was excellent. The house has wonderful natural light and is super private. I would love to come back.
We chose this place partly for location, partly for the dog-fenced area alongside the house. The house is extremely well-stocked, and with quality items: good knives & cookware, lots of food basics (oils, butter, salad dressing, etc.), and lots of thoughtful bathroom extras (shampoo, lotion, q-tips, extra razors, etc.) Beautiful home, right on the river; any closer, and you'd be wet.
Amazing! This little nest by the river was the cozy getaway we needed. The house was easy to find (thank you for the windmill landmark!), check-in was seamless, and everything was clean and well-stocked for a home-away-from-home experience. I absolutely loved the kitchen and appreciated having all the necessary cleaning supplies. The house had everything we needed—whether for a meal on the deck, a cozy indoor retreat on a rainy day, or a fully equipped kitchen to cook delicious meals. Waking up to the stunning view of the roaring river made the stay even more special.
Absolutely loved the rushing sound of the river just feet away from sitting on the deck. Perfect house for a girls get away. Restaurants close by were all delish. Only issue needed more sitting in living room and what’s with one roll of toilet paper. But still a great place.
A return visit for us, one of many. This clean, well stocked, and comfortable cabin is on a stretch of the McKenzie River that's hard to beat. The river was very high due to snow melt and recent rains - incredible power. Just sit back and enjoy!
Needs a good pressure washing on the outside. Interior was very good!
Had our two dogs with us and they tracked in their fair share of debris.
Would have been nice to have access to a decent vacuum. Other than that, we would stay here time and again.
We love this area on the Mckenzie River. We are happy to find a place overlooking the river and we can bring our dogs. Having the fenced side yard was perfect for the dogs to roam around safely outside.
The house has a great view and was very comfortable. Remote but yet close to a store and restaurant. Not too far from Sisters and right down the street from Belknap hot springs.
Definitely will rent again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
This was a perfect spot for a family vacation. There's lots to do in the Willamette National Forest and the cabin is close enough to Sisters for a day trip. In fact, I grilled a delicious ribeye I bought at Sisters Smokehouse. The kids loved the river and the waterfalls and especially river rafting. If you do a rafting trip, you'll pass right by the cabin. I highly recommend this place. Kids are 8 and 9. I already miss having cofffee and breakfast on the deck.
Everything was clean and well stocked with soaps, shampoos, cooking utensils, etc. The river is literally right outside the sliding doors off the deck. It was quiet and peaceful. The property manager/owner was extremely easy to work with. That was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway. Thank you, Mike!
This property is as advertised. Tucked along the McKenzie River is this private oasis that offers peaceful tranquility with stunning waterfront. Everything you need is provided. Observe fishing guides and kayakers on the river. Belknap hot springs was a treat. The fall colors were in full bloom. Will definitely return to this one!
