The open-concept living space invites you to settle in—whether that means curling up on the huge sectional with a movie on the Smart TV (with Apollo TV & Netflix!) or gathering around the gas fireplace on a chilly evening. OUTSIDE Out back, I love starting the day with coffee in the sunroom, and I know you will too. In the evening, you’ll unwind with a glass of wine under the gazebo, enjoying BBQ dinners at the outdoor dining table. The huge yard is perfect for fun—play a round of cornhole, practice your putting, or let the kids and pets run free.
When you’re ready for the beach, just grab the wagon and chairs—it’s only a 2-minute walk to the sandy shoreline. You’ll watch the kids build sandcastles, splash in the waves, or simply relax with a book.
After dinner, take a short walk back to the beach—trust me, Lake Huron’s sunsets are some of the best in the world. Then, gather around the propane firepit, roasting marshmallows and sharing ghost stories under the stars. This is what cottage memories are made of.
EXTRAS WIFI, Air Conditioning, Gas Fireplace, SmartTV with Netflix and ApolloTV, Firetable
When you're ready for a lakeside adventure, the nearest lake access is just a short stroll away. It’s the perfect spot for a quick swim or a relaxing beach walk. And NO STAIRS - smooth paved path leads you down to the Lake.
NOTE: The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Everything was great the cottage, the yard and the area. Quick to Grand Bend and Bayfield and not to far to Goderich. Beach was a short walk and not to busy. This was a 4th time renting with Cottage Stays and all have been very smooth.

It was better than I expected!
We arrived at Pine View for our 5 night stay. Well, I found this place. I wasn’t too sure what to expect. It looked more like a house than a cottage, and it was a house. But that worked out well.
The backyard reminded me of my childhood home, down to the pine trees lining the backyard and the statue in the garden that was the same as home. A very nice deck with a fire table, late afternoon shade, a welcome after a great day at the beach.
The neighborhood was very quiet. An added bonus. The inside was SPOTLESS, spacious, and very well equipped including an ice maker.
Our dog Lily walked onto the deck and immediately saw “Lily’s chair”, the same lounge chair she jumps up on our deck. We all enjoyed the local critters (Lily included) and managed to get lots of pictures of the white squirrel, and the grey and white cat that Lily desperately wanted to meet. The close proximity to the beach (dogs allowed), it was very short walk and made multiple daily visits easy. The dog treats, local coffee grounds and popcorn were a nice added touch.
I would recommend you try this place out. Close to Bayfield, Grand Bend and Goderich, easy day excursions to all!
