"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"During our 3 weeks visit to the UK we visited of 25 historic homes and gardens. This was our only opportunity to actually stay in one. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only did we stay at a historic site but one that had modern facilities and amenities also. Couldn’t have been better. The staff was great too. "
