Downtown Boalsburg - close to State College and Rothrock

  • This cozy home is located on Main Street in Historic Boalsburg. The house features 2 first floor bedrooms and a full bath. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and a large back deck. The house is walking distance to several nice restaurants, a new brewery, a winery, a new bike shop and the military museum. It is very close to Penn State - 5 miles to stadium. Great location to stay for several summer arts and craft festivals (Boalsburg Memorial Day Arts fest, People's Choice, Arts Fest). In addition, there is a bike park (Harvest fields nearby) as well as a indoor climbing gym. A few short miles away are several golf courses and the Tussey Mountain fun center. Mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers- this is a great location to stay while exploring Rothrock State forest.

The cottage was warm and cozy and has such wonderful comfortable beds!! Its location is close to everything and our dog enjoyed the walks around town and chasing squirrels in the fenced in back yard. Hoping to get back there soon!!

This house is a little home away from home for us! Quaint little cottage close to Penn State where our son is studying engineering. He loves to come and stay with us at this property and sprawl out in his queen sized bed. Our pup has the whole backyard to run. We love this place!

Charming home near State College

We had a wonderful stay with our small family. It has a lot of character and it super cozy. Both beds were very comfortable and the home is overly stocked with everything we needed (towels, kitchen supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). We will definitely try to stay in the future when we return to this area!

Nice stay

We stayed at this property over the weekend of the 70.3 Ironman. The house was well located (only 10 min from the Beaver Stadium) and big enough for my wife, my father in law and the dogs. The back yard was fenced and pretty big, and it was nice to seat on the front porch enjoying the summer rain.

This little cottage is perfect for 2. Comes complete with everything that you could possibly need. The only drawback is that the bathroom is very small and the water pressure is low. It's a perfect location to get anywhere that you need to go.

Boalsburg Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Will and Dana’s place in Boalsburg! We were able to walk to Duffy’s Tavern, cute shops and Kelly’s steakhouse. Their house is just a short drive to Penn State, which made the location ideal! Checking in and out was a breeze and our hosts couldn’t have been more accomodating! Thank you so much Will and Dana! Small home, very comfortable…felt like home. Owner took care of everything that we needed except for the food we brought in. Just down the street from a nice tavern for dinner, longer walk or short ride to Boal City Brewery.

My sister-in-law and I came to town to celebrate an engagement party in Boalsburg. The location of the home was perfect. PSU Football Weekend

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The location, the quaint village of Boalsburg, was excellent with some fine restaurants and a winery within walking distance. The house was very clean. It was very hot the day we arrived, but the owner had the fans and room air conditioners on when we checked in. There was a slight issue at check in, but it was rectified very quickly. Communication with the owner was excellent! We would definitely stay there again when visiting the area.
