"Fantastic stay here. We arrived sooner than expected but check in team managed to get us a room straightaway - really helpful and friendly. Big rooms, very clean and great complimentary breakfasts. Also provide free bike hire, free WiFi and plenty of free water bottles available in reception. Microwaves in the room and a selection of microwaveable foods available to buy in reception if you don't want to eat out and save a few dollars. Shops and gas station a short drive away and likewise short drive to Sausalito, which has loads of shops and places to eat. Our favourite nearby place was Mill Valley - a lovely little town surrounded by woods and mountains. We find this hotel a great base for trips into San Fran as well as surrounding areas. All staff really polite, friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend."

"We had a junior suite on the 4th floor (401) with great views of the water and boats at the docks. You see water/boats straight ahead from the bed and on the balcony. The room had a separate sitting area and desk separated from the bedroom with a door. Great for those who wake up much earlier than their mate. Well appointed and clearly renovated for modern conveniences. Great bathroom as well. We were able to walk along either the street or the docks to go left to downtown restaurants from the front of the property or paths and sidewalks to the right for stores and restaurants. Really well located. Staff were great and super responsive."

"This home is perfectly located: half a block off Highway 1, and minutes from downtown Mill Valley, Tiburon, and Highway 101. While this may sound like it's in a busy location, it isn't! It's set back from the street, surrounded by a lovely garden, and amazingly peaceful. The kitchen was very well-stocked and clean. I stayed with my seven-year-old grandson and appreciated how authentically friendly the host was to him. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We’ve never been to Mill Valley - so first is that this location is in the hills, very narrow roads, so be cautious driving. There were approximately 30 stairs down to the unit, again exercise caution. Entering thru the front door is a small landing with one step down - be careful! Other than that the unit is pretty & the view is fabulous. One suggestion is to change the mattress in the sofa bed. It is very worn & uncomfortable. I was happy to only spend 3 nights on it. Also some lightbulbs could be replaced, especially the sconces near the bathroom sink. The unit was spotless, also having coffee & water available was a nice touch."
