"This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

"The accommodation, property manager, local were the best. Any requests were dealt with in a very timely fashion. We found one shortfall, the noise level at times, especially in evening was louder than expected but this was the holiday season and locals had moved into area and celebrating. We will definitely be back to the area."

"We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things. "My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. The hosts bent over backwards to make us comfortable and even took the time to discuss life in Barra de Navidad and surrounding areas. "Our group had a great stay, the condo was clean, well appointed with all that we needed in the kitchen, extra bed and towel linens along with pool towels. The bi-fold doors opened up the entire window wall facing the ocean bringing in the sounds and breeze from the ocean, it was a bonus! Owners Diane and Randy were very helpful in introducing us to the area for local entertainment and restaurants' and were available if we needed anything during our stay. We would book this condo again."

There were a couple of odd things that I hope they improve. 1) a guest guide book or walk through of how the suite works. We didn’t know the refrigerator had filtered water till the last day.
