Ladies birthday weekend getaway

Location was great! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay from the gorgeous views to the cozy bedrooms and fireplace to the super easy access to Portuguese Beach. The house was very tastefully done.

House was great! Had everything we needed. Location is unbeatable. Being able to walk to the beach was a game changer. Host was very responsive. We had an issue with the coffee machine the first morning and they had a new one delivered in a few hours. I would definitely stay again! My only suggestion would be to provide beach towels. Not a big deal, but they would have come in handy.

Beautiful ocean view. Quiet neighborhood. We saw quite a few wild animals that my daughter loved so much. Easy walk to beach. First time we did not have to make any efforts to see sunset. Close to other landmarks. We really enjoyed staying in the property. Thanks a lot.

Another Fabulous Stay at Bodega Bay

Loved the place before, loved it even more now. Superb upgrade in adding what used to be the garage game room into the house proper with a new TV, awesome lounges and all. Missed the ping pong table a little bit, but the "trade" for an all enclosed game and additional TV room was well worth it! Thanks again and looking forward to our next stay!

The floor boards are warped, the kitchen is barely appointed and small, furniture is not comfortable. Enjoyed our time in the area.

Our family of five was happy just hanging out and looking out of the window while we read, cooked, and played games on a last minute vacation before school started. The yard was perfect for our pup. There were deer that we could watch that came regularly and a bobcat sighting. The nearby beach was great for walks, the road for running and dog walking, and Bodega Bay had great offerings for coffee, pastries, food, and groceries. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property. Fabulous location and views that cannot be beat. Layout of two family rooms is great for people with kids or that just want to do different things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our recent stay at this Beach House. It was in walking distance to an amazing beach, that was never crowded. The ocean views from the living room, king room and back room were amazing. We enjoyed the fire table, bbqing on the deck and eating dinner outside. The room with bunk beds was a nice surprise! The description said it was a room with a full bed, so I was prepared to have my girls share a bed. To our surprise, they each got their own bed as bunk beds! That should definitely be updated in the property description. The pool table was an added bonus that we used every day as well. The kitchen is a little small and there is no room to store any food that you bring unless it needs to be refrigerated. It would be nice to have a cupboard to store some snacks during our stay. Otherwise it was a lovely home, very clean, and we will definitely be coming back here again!

Outstanding views!

Arrival: When we got there I couldn’t find my email with the code to get in- it was easy to get a hold of someone that helped right away. Someone even called back within minutes to make sure we got in ok- very responsive! They also had an option of ordering from a local baker- the cookies & brownies were delicious!Location: Not far from Bodega Bay so we were able to still enjoy the shops and restaurants there, yet feel away from it all. We even walked across the hwy to the trail/stairs down to check out Portuguese Beach. But really enjoyed the tidepools at Shell Beach a few min drive north and took a great hike at Bodega Head overlooking the bay. House: Gorgeous views not only from the outside deck area, but also from the living room & main bedroom. The table was perfect for hanging out and playing games- while also enjoying the view. Outside we got to see a family of deer strolling through. Can’t say enough about the beautiful view of the ocean from anywhere on that side of the house! So perfectly peaceful. At night we lit a duraflame log in the cool fireplace and played games- and could still hear the ocean. We also played a few games of pool- fun game room. But we spent most of our time in the front of the house enjoying the view and fireplace. The house was very clean and comfortable. The fireplaces in the bedrooms were a nice touch. We had such a great trip- would definitely recommend and would love to go back. )
