Top Bodie State Historic Park Hotel Reviews
Yosemite Gateway Motel
8/10 Good
"On a week-long trip through Southern California and Nevada, somehow this property was our most expensive stay. That's OK. They kind of have the market cornered, and it was necessary for us to reach eastern side of Yosemite. The property has clearly been transformed and updated from the old school motel days near the Tioga Pass. It's far from a modern hotel. Despite that, the property was uniquely a mix of old and new. The bathrooms are very spacious and clearly have been upgraded. We stayed in a room with a window air conditioner that was designed to keep that room and a larger room cool through the night. However, if you shut the door to the small room, there goes the AC. In all honesty, that part of California does not see warm nights. We opened the door, and it was in the low 50's. Problem solved. Note: You need to arrive in this town before 10:00PM, or the sidewalks will be rolled up. I tend to like quirky places, and this one certainly fit the bill. It's a true mix of old and new with character and quirks. I would give it 3.5 stars, but that's not an option."
Willow Springs Resort

"Top shelf people that run a top shelf place. Can’t say enough!! Nice folks!"
Heidelberg Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great inn, good price, very clean and beautiful property. Had to check in late and Joel, the manager, was incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend!"
Lee Vining Motel
8/10 Good
"Clean, comfortable room. Great location close to Yosemite east entrance. Market a block away with good breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Room had a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker. Only negative- we were in Room 1 which is a little small and is right on the road. We heard trucks all night. there is a large window that needs black out curtains. So it got very bright very early. I'm sure the other rooms are better! And the price was great for the location. I would stay here again."
Virginia Creek Settlement
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were friendly and the place was definitely worth what we paid."
Bridgeport Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Quaint simple hotel with delightful bar and restaurant that served me when I arrived even though a power outage caused them to technically close the place temporarily. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and bathrooms are clean. My only complaint was the water was a little hazy looking so I had to go down the street to get some bottled water but probably could have just asked downstairs for some."
Silver Maple Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This is our favorite “go to” place whenever we visit Bridgeport. We love the huge grassy area with chairs and tables to enjoy the mornings or evenings. Rooms are always quiet and you can park right in front of your room. It is located close to shops and restaurants to walk to. Just love the old world style of the town and the hotel."
The Bodie Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic historical hotel experience. If you’re into history and ghost towns, then the Bodie Hotel is a must stay. The staff/owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Bridgeport is a quaint, cute little town. Not much to do but what is available is so much fun! Loved the whole weekend!"
