Excellent until we got to checkout!

Lovely building and we had a really excellent dinner - the catering team was changing so they weren't on their new menu yet so what we had was effectively a one-off. Lots of attention from the chap who was taking over the running of the kitchen. We had an automatic email from the property saying we had pre-payed but when we checked out we were told we hadn't. That caused some confusion especially as the man at checkout kept referring to our Expedia booking - I know Hotels.com is part to Expedia but it was hardly helpful especially as this was all dealt with in French. The decor of the building is lovely and it is well set up for wheelchair access with lifts between floors (but awkward stairs from the car park to reception. Bike parking was rudimentary and outdoors but the chateau is in a very quiet spot.

Accueil extrêmement froid. Portail fermé par flemme de l’ouvrir. Obligé de se garer loin de l’entrée et donc de se trimbaler ses bagages. On nous a dit que si nous voulions rapprocher notre voiture il fallait ( nous même) ouvrir le lourd portail en fer puis ressortir et le refermer. ( incroyable ! ) On ne nous a pas pris au restaurant le soir ( alors que j’avais prévenu avant de venir) pas assez de place et « on ne me l’a pas noté » Bref aucun sens de l’accueil, aucune attention. C’est bien dommage pour un aussi joli cadre .

Le domaine est splendide de l’extérieur mais un accueil des plus exécrable. Les moquettes des chambres tachées. Le mobilier de piscine détérioré et pas mis en place. Le château est très beau d'extérieur et le chemin pour y arrivé fait rêver..à l'intérieur c'est beaucoup moins reluisant ! Il mériterait un coup de jeune sur les installations. La chambre même si elle est grande, les moquettes et autres équipements de salles de bain font vraiment anciens. La tv est ridiculement petite et ne capte pas tres bien (j'ai meme eu des coupures de quelques secondes. pas de porte manteau ni de possibilités d'étendre les affaires mouillées après avoir été la piscine. La piscine n'ouvre qu'à 9h c'est un peu tard je trouve. L'endroit fait un peu vide et impersonnel (pour un chateau..) je trouve le rapport qualité prix assez moyen. Le personnel bien que sympathique ne transcende pas le séjour. Le petit déj est correcte et le cadre sympa (attention jusqu'à 9h30). Le gros point positifs est l'emplacement avec son côté nature et préservé.

Bon séjour malgré 2 petites déceptions.

Séjour agréable malgré 2 déceptions : -Reception fermée à 19h, dommage que les clients du 14 juillet n’ai pas le même service que ceux des autres jours… -La borne de charge pour véhicule électrique annoncée sur hôtels.com est inexistante… nous avons dû nous contenter d’une prise domestique… ça dépanne (merci quand même) mais ce n’est pas suffisant pour reprendre la route sereinement le lendemain. Hormis ça le cadre est très agréable et le lieu est calme et très beau. Le personnel est agréable et serviable.
