Overall, this is a really nice place to stay if for a very short stay. The hotel does show its age, lack of supplies in the room made it feel bare. No coffee maker, no iron, plain looking room. The staff is incredible and this is my second stay. I chose this place for 2 nights mainly the staff is very very pleasant and my stay would be short. Location is great, breakfast is so so (limited). I would stay here again for 2 nights or less but cant see myself spending more than that. Just not enough amenities or anything to do, no gym either.

Staff here was incredible! Despite the language gap, they really worked hard to do what they could. The ones that did speak English, were very helpful as well. I had a small issue unrelated to my stay, and the desk people made it their own problem, and did not give up until resolved. The main waiter in the restaurant was fantastic as well. Rooms BIG and very nice. From the minute i first walked in, until I left, absolutey no complaints. Nothing more I could have asked for except maybe an Ice Machine

Clean, but basic hotel

The hotel's best assets are it's staff who are polite, attentive and professional throughout. However the building itself is drab and basic. The room I was in had a large comfy bed, a table and two chairs, a TV and a desk, that's it (plus an empty fridge). No kettle, no bottled water, no tea/coffee facilities, no iron etc. The bathroom was plain and lacked toiletries (gel in a dispenser) Daily room service was decent however (again, staff are great). Communal areas similarly sparse. Breakfast wasn't bad, not a choice, but fairly basic, again, excellent service from staff. Overall, not bad, just not good either. The owners need to brighten the place up and equip the rooms out a little more. (Rooms without tea/coffee facilities belong in the 1970s!)

The experience I had with this hotel is really disappointing. Although the hotel's location and building are good, there are a lot downfalls involved. I will explain why. 1- I booked a deluxe room but when we arrived we were given a room without a window. When we complained, they said that this is their standard room and I could upgrade to a room with a balcony. I explained that I do not need a balcony but the only way forward was to pay extra money to get a room with a window. 2- We booked a room with two double beds and finished with a room with one double bed and one single bunk bed. 3- No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. 4- Shower was very bad, with no shower head. 5-Water was turbid ( 6- The water drains very slowly from the sink and shower. 7- Food at breakfast was substandard with limited choice. 8- Coffee and tea served at breakfast were made with highly chlorinated tap water. tastes absolutely revolting. In summary, in spite of the good location, this was one of the worst hotels I have ever visited. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned.

Everything was excellent!!! The people and service was phenomenal and they were always there to assist in any way. Restaurant was great, I arrived when food was almost gone but they were able to get some eggs done for me. The refrigerator in the room is just annoying, it keeps making a lot of noise throughout the night but that will not change the score I am giving

This hotel is 6 stars for service, 5 stars for rooms, and 4 stars for location. Everyone in the hotel was super helpful including reception, door happy helper, buffet happy helpers, and room cleaners. They tried their best to make me feel welcomed and happy. They had hot soup every day. There is free water (with zest of fruits) near the reception. The room is luxurious and very clean … TV, Safe, Fridge, mini bar, and coffee machine are all available. What I loved most about the room is the super comfy bed and many pillows (five). Two of the pillows were hard and two are soft. There is a table with chairs near the window which was in front of the park. Hot water comes quickly. Several towels. The two things to consider are: Wifi is ok but not strong, and room is very cold. Please bring one set of winter cloths. for location, it is very safe neighbourhood near a small park. There are 2 pizza shops 100 meter away from hotel. There is express Exito & burger near the park. Though, that is it … if you want more food or money exchange or shopping, you need to cross the many streets surrounding this neighbourhood … I walked in all directions. The shortest walk is heading north towards Calle 100 for several restaurants and Carulla (grocery). The best advice is use one of the two pedestrian bridges heading east towards Carrera 15 street which has everything: restaurants, western union (currency exchange), D1, shopping, cafe (try Azahar Cafe or Cafe Amor Perfecto), and famous Parque 93.
