"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

"Upon arrival, my booking could not be found for approximately 20 minutes which was inconvenient. The room was spacious (shared female dorm room for 6 people) but the beds had to be made ourselves and the mattresses were extremely thin so it was a hard surface to sleep on. There was extremely bad wifi at the room, it was too weak to load websites. The showers were warm and the bathroom facilities were generally good. "This is a hippie hostel however it was kind of old and they allow customers to smoke inside which may go inside your room. "

"Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location."

"The hotel was pretty decent and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a bus station a few meters away and a subway station about 5 minutes from there. "I stayed at the property for one night and it was a beautiful facility and very well appointed. I wished I had been able to stay longer to enjoy it amenities. I would definitely stay at the hotel and recommend it highly to others."

"Great hotel with lovely staff. Good breakfast with mix of Chinese and ‘western’ options. Pool is small but adequate. Gym facilities are good. There’s a Tube station about 10 mins walk from the hotel (near the Weston). But we just caught a cab via the DiDi App to all the sites. Way more comfortable. Concierge organised a Day return taxi to Badaling Great Wall for the 4 of us which worked out way cheaper than any of the ‘tours’ online. Word of advice is to plan your trips around the rush hour traffic in Beijing. There’s a small shopping mall about a 10 mins walk away. Has a variety of food stalls and a McDs. Overall, would very likely stay here again. "
