Ah the serenity

The house was clean with comfortable beds. Very very quiet. Crazy goats were cute and we had fun giving them a snack. Lot of birds. Would highly recommend if you need to distress. Great commutation with owner.

Restful, quiet farmstay

The property is a clean and well presented farmhouse with good facilities. We enjoyed the quiet setting and the brilliant views of the milky way against dark skies. Lots of wildlife and goats in the paddocks added to the experience. The host, Alison, was in constant communication. All good!

The quiet and the space.

The HillTop Cottage was clean on arrival with fire already started. Eggs in the fridge was a nice touch. Clean sheets, clean carpet/floors, clean surfaces, new appliances, Foxtel and Wifi. Plenty of space for 6 inside the cottage. As you wake, pour a cuppa, and step outside to take your first breath of fresh crisp air at the foot of a mountain that is ready for you to explore. Strathbogie, Euroa, and Violet Town all in less than 30 mins drive and all have supplies for dinner. Ashlan Farm is really a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city to experience life on a farm. When its time to put the lights out, step outside and experience night sky in total silence. Wildlife to see is kangaroos, koala, deer, kookaburra's, wallabies and finches. And you'll also see cattle and sheep. The most notable experience was the quiet and the space. We highly recommend Ashlan Farm. You'll be looking at properties to buy.
