Excellent location. Quiet. Lovely and cozy cottage. Beautifully appointed. Was thrilled with everything. I will stay again should I travel to Boise.I would suggest a choice of pillow firmness. The bed pillows were on the very firm side.

The cottage was cozy, quiet & beautifully decorated. Conveniently located close to BSU & downtown Boise. Comfortable bed & lots of pillows and blankets. The TV was great but only had streaming services so we were unable to watch the Mariners playoff game or BSU football game on live TV, so we had to watch it on our phone instead. Other than that our stay was great!

Great location - just 10 minutes to downtown or airport. Less than 5 minutes to grocery store. Also about 10 minutes to St Alphonsus Hospital.Cozy, quiet and quaint. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was well appointed and cozy. My wife loved the decor and the location to downtown and neighboring areas was excellent! Having parking right next to the cottage was ideal. The thoughtful snacks were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

So cute & great location

The cottage was as cute as the pictures. The location was perfect- less than 10 minutes to downtown. Our only suggestion would be more knives and pots & pans in the kitchen. We made do with what was there, but we definitely had to improvise.

Cute place!

This was a cute, small place for 2 (if you’re a couple) and possibly more if you open the hide a bed in living room. You must close it back up as it takes up entire living room. This was fine with me as we were only staying 2 nights. The accommodations were fine, kitchen well stocked and you are close to restaurants and shopping. Will hopefully be staying there again!

Putting on the Ritz

I arrived alone, shortly after dark and was very anxious about accessing the home in a dark alley. However, I noticed there were an abundance of alley entrance homes in the area. And sensor lights gave me an added sense of security since I was coming and going in the dark. The area is very quiet and easy access on and off of Roosevelt Street. The place is an amazing alternative to a high-end Motel. Plus, the add on fees were way reasonable.

Unexpected awsomness

This was the highlight of my fast trip. Shelbys cottage is full of incredibly thoughtfull convies, treats, and wounderfully designed like a comfy magazine. The kitchen had some of the little things id forgot to bring. Clean, stocked, just like a private hotel. Things to note, read instructions on how to get there carfully cause gps messed up and took me close but not there. Lucky shelby left instructions. Door key was easy to use, i only wish there had been one of those hotel security latches too. But its a safe neighborhood. Im parinoid. Thoughtfully carring about every detail is how this place was. To the little light left on, to the temp set at 70, to the convient table on the patio i could set my stuff on while opening the door. Not to mention the chips and candy, tea and chilled water. I loved it. It was so nice to have as a none coffee drinker. And i had been so hungery getting off the road, it was enough to get me settled. Outlets were easy to find for charging. So much thought and care was put in. The place could have had pealing paint and been old and the service alone would have been wounderful. As it it, it was a beauitifully decorated private nook of home away from homeThank you.

Cozy, clean, and esthetic!

This cottage is so cute and cozy! The decor is LOVELY and there was clearly so much attention to detail and intention in making this place beautiful. The house was immaculately clean, smelled wonderful, was very esthetically pleasing and was close by to everything we wanted to do. The host was a wonderful communicator and very friendly and responsive. There were many special touches throughout the cottage that we appreciated: the essential oil diffuser with recipe suggestions, the chocolate, the snacks and drinks, and the guide book that gave us wonderful ideas on where to eat and what to do while we were in the area. We especially loved Fork restaurant and wouldn't have known about it or tried it if not for the guidebook. Unlike other places weve stayed at that charge a hefty cleaning fee and still leave a long list of instructions to complete before check-out, the only real request this host had was that we take out our garbage. Very reasonable! I plan on keeping this cottage on my favorites list and I hope we get to stay here again sometime! I was a little nervous because it dodnt have a review yet but we took a chance and I'm so glad we did! Worth it! Thank you Shelby for a great experience!
