"Very good stay. Extremely clean. Comfortable bed with nice bed linen. Only one small negative that there was a coffee maker but no cups or coffee! Would stay again. "

"Ich hatte das Hotel über Expedia gebucht, wo angegeben war, dass man vorab einen Zugangscode erhält – leider kam keinerlei Nachricht. Vor Ort hing lediglich ein Zettel mit einem Schlüssel, kein persönlicher Empfang, keine Erklärung, nichts. Während meines gesamten Aufenthalts (vier Übernachtungen) habe ich kein einziges Mal Personal gesehen. Es gab keinen Zimmerservice, das Bett wurde nicht gemacht, keine frischen Handtücher, keine Reinigung. Das Mobiliar war alt und teils beschädigt – der...

"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"Das Hotel befindet sich teils im Rohbau. Offene Leitungen, Kabel, Türamatur nicht vorhanden. Wenn man nicht abschließt , öffnet sich die Türe beim andrücken. Unsympathischer Empfang, Beim Frühstücksbüffet spärliche Auswahl und keine Angestellte. Nicht zu empfehlen, sind enttäuscht. Bilder auf der Homepage sind gut arrangiert, lassen den tatsächlichen Zustand nicht ersehen. "

"I only stayed one night, but the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Their b&B was so cute and comfortable. They really do go the extra mile to make sure their guests are well taken care of. "

"On arrival we had to check in at the sister property down the hill. At check in they were unable to find our booking and we’re not expecting us, they did provide us with a room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. There were dustpans & brushes left on the landing, room was reasonably clean but tired, breakfast was an extra €7 each at the sister property down the street and was good value. The bar was not open. Quiet setting & good recommendation for evening food at nearby Italian Remos. ...

"Anfangs waren wir verdutzt das der Burghof nicht mehr Burghof hieß . Haben vom Wirt erfahren das der Name am 1.9.19 gewechselt hat. Schlüsseübergabe um 16.30 im Restaurant. Deswegen frühere Anreise nicht nötig. Zimmer völlig in Ordnung. Bei Abreise Schlüssel in Briefkasten. Völlig problemlos. Immer wieder gern !"

"Checkin available only 5-8 PM. My room was very small and uncomfortable. The area is worst fior a hotel. My room was kept very cold. To save energy- I normally lik cold but that was too cold. 3% surcharge was added for paying with credit card. The manager is obviously trying to squeeze out every penny for this facility. There were much better options for equal or lower price in the Cologne area but I got stuck with this bad choice."
