"There was no staff on site and the owner was rude when I had called to speak to him. We were travelling with friends and drove 4 hours from home. When we got to Hush we found out the owner has given away our friends reservation. There were still empty rooms and cottages that we were told were already booked, but when we were there, no one had shown up. On Expedia it says that it is pet friendly. "Fantastic Hotel — Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada and absolutely loved our time here! The hotel was clean, modern, besutifully decorated and comfortable, and had everything we could have asked for. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was cleaned thoroughly every day. We really appreciated the quality shower products provided, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Having a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker in the room was also a great convenience. The air conditioning worked like a charm! The continental breakfast was fantastic, with so many choices. We especially loved the automatic pancake maker—it was a big hit! There was eggs, sausages, baked goods, sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and plenty of other options. They even offered To-Go breakfast bags, which was a really nice touch for guests on the go. The staff working at the breakfast bar were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always making sure everyone had what they needed. The swimming pool and fitness room were a huge hit with our teens. They loved having the opportunity to swim and work out during our stay. Another thing we really appreciated was having coffee and tea available 24/7 in the breakfast area, along with a great selection of delicious coffee creamers. A special thank-you to Abby at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and helpful. It was so nice to be greeted by such a friendly face."

"This was a beautiful property. There were a few spiders in the corners inside the room but aside from that it was extremely clean. There was not much to do in the evening as the pool closed at 8:30. You need to have a reservation for the restaurant at the lodge. We only stayed one night and didn’t pack anything for dinner or breakfast, so it would have been nice to get some snacks in the lounge but they only had ice cream and popsicles. There was a full kitchen with a fridge and stove that had we been staying more than one night would be perfect."
