Blowing Rock Cabin on Relaxing Mountain Stream-

Creekside Cottage is a cozy mountain cabin known for its relaxing atmosphere offering a comfortable mountain getaway. Our family's mountain cottage is in a very peaceful mountain setting close to all area attractions, downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. An active stream runs along the back deck, under the hot tub and around property providing a restful experience for the mind and soul.
Gaze up at the bright stars while soaking in a hot tub on the deck right outside the back door or cuddle next to the gas fireplace after a long day on the numerous hiking trails winding through the Blue Ridge Mountains. A short hike from the cottage, through the woods, leads to The Mountain-to-Sea Trail. Huddle around a campfire in the fire pit and enjoy roasting marshmallows and s'mores. Plenty of firewood and fire starter provided!

Nearby ski mountains are Appalachian Ski Mountain (4 miles), Sugar Mountain (22 miles) and Beech Mountain (28 miles). Everyone enjoys snow tubing at Hawks Nest (19 miles).

Shopping and gourmet dining in the Village of Blowing Rock is a short five minute drive. Additional shopping and dining available in Boone, only ten minutes from your front door. Area ski resorts and golf courses are only 3 miles from Creekside Cottage.

Great place to get away!

We had a great stay! The house is tucked away in the trees with a creek in the back but only 5 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. There is plenty of space and a great hot tub. Our dogs loved exploring and meeting the friendly neighbor dog. We needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this was the perfect place!

Winter Weekend in Blowing Rock

This cabin is right on a little creek with an amazing back deck and hot tub. It's a great traditional two bedroom A-frame with a fantastic location just 8-10 min from downtown Blowing Rock and 15 min from Boone. We are already planning our next trip back.

This was our third stay in the cabin. Our kids count down the days every year until we get to go. It’s peaceful, cozy, clean, and the perfect size for our family of 4. The hot tub off the back deck is perfect. The creek is right outside one of the bedroom windows and is so wonderful to fall asleep to. It’s so close to Boone and Blowing Rock- the perfect location! Joe goes above and beyond as a proper manger- he’s friendly, kind, quick to respond, and always makes our family feel welcome. Already booking for next year!

We absolutely loved our time here at the "creekside cottage"! You dont realize how close the creek is to the back porch, the sound of the water is amazing! This is a great A frame cottage in a nice private spot, and still about 10 to 15 minutes from anything you want or need to do!

Leaf peeping in Boone

It was a wonderful getaway, the house was situated in a private setting with a babbling brook near the back deck with hot tub. The living area was wide opened with a beautiful fireplace and a very large screen tv. We plan on going back in June , when the surrounding woods come alive with rhododendrons in bloom.

Slice of Heaven

This was our second stay in this beautiful creekside cabin. The host was so friendly and welcoming. The cabin is so perfect for a couple or small family. The hot tub, fire pit, grill and the little creek flowing through the backyard are all wonderful. Not a single complaint about this lovely place. It’s the most perfect place to stay- we will be back again!!

Boone Vacation

A lovely home in the mountains with a relaxing hot tub. Lot’s of things things to do (zip-lining at Hawksnest, shopping in town and out) and places to eat (Pepper’s next to Harold Teeter) and lots of peace and quiet. The melody of the creek infuses all outdoor activities at the cabin.
