Beautiful cabin - had everything we needed! Wished for a few more days just to enjoy the cabin, deck and river. Off the beaten path but still close to Boone.
Very clean, modern, and well supplied cabin! Beds super comfortable. Great view from the deck with comfortable seating space. Owner very responsive and kind. Would stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view overlooking the river and nearby farm was very relaxing. The hosts even left us a treat to help us celebrate our anniversary.
We enjoyed staying in this comfortable cabin. The river view is beautiful. It was close enough to Boone to go there for dinner one night. Excellent hiking trails are just a short drive away. We will definitely return.
We had such a nice time at Lee’s cabin for two nights! We spent all of our time at the house relaxing on the porch, and taking our baby down to the river across the street. Everything was spotless inside the house! We were so appreciative of the thoughtful touches upon check in.
Everything was wonderful the owner respond very fast and very nice all the time. The place was wonderful the views, mountains the persons was very nice. The only thing I’m not like was in the night is so dark in middle mountains with kids I’m little bit scared. But for the rest everything was wonderful
We had a great long weekend at this cozy cabin! This home has been tastefully remodeled with all the modern comforts. A few feet from the house is easy access to the river. We spent much of our time chilling on the big wrap around deck overlooking the river. Had the pleasure to meet some of the neighbors who were very welcoming.
Property owner was so easy to work with and great with my questions. The cabin is amazingly close to the river. River access is easy, seems like a maximum of 30 yards from the cabin door. Beautiful landscaping. Great wrap around deck with a easy and wide view of the water. Lovely modern interior in the cabin. Fully equipped kitchen. Solid wifi. Very comfortable stay! Will definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at Lee's cabin! The porch and the river were the highlights of our stay. The cabin was incredibly clean and comfortable. Probably one of the cleanest places we've ever rented! We picked blackberries from the driveway, caught fish in the river, and basked in the beauty of the North Carolina high country. I was a little concerned about not having central air but the AC units in the bedroom and fans made it very comfortable, even in the middle of July. 10/10. We will come again!
The river cottage was well appointed and the owners left several small extra touches for guests to enjoy. Kitchen was modern and spacious, allowing us to prepare and eat our Thanksgiving meal! Hosts were responsive. The only issue was that the fire place did not work due to a part on back order. Great deck and views of the river and valley. We are hoping to book again in warmer weather! Thank you for sharing your home.
The cabin is in a secluded area and you don’t see neighbors (you can barely see them on the other side of the river,) which gives good privacy that you can enjoy serenity. The cabin is well updated with sleek modern country interiors, and has a wrap-around porch with an awesome view of a river. My husband and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner feeling nice breezes.
The owner is quick to respond to my question and easy to communicate with. Plenty amenities were prepared and well thought of.
Stargazing was amazing at night!! It was like a jewelry box turned upside down with sparkles from fireflies. It was just so magical and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We highly recommend this cabin.
We had an amazing trip! This place was top tier - we loved the fireplace, the gorgeous kitchen, the views and the water pressure! We would definitely recommend and we hope to be back!!
We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were welcoming and quick to answer any questions. The cabin was very cozy and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. It couldn't have been better!
This cabin was just perfect! It was secluded enough but we could still get into downtown in a short distance. Our host was amazing and answered our questions quickly, we will be back!
