Location! Location! Location! Located on the edge of Boone down a private driveway on a 3-acre secluded mountainside. This light and airy cabin has been professionally decorated and equipped to make your stay extremely comfortable. Easy access to all of the area attractions including ASU, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, all ski resorts, Blowing Rock, Banner elk, Hawksnest, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, etc. Only a few days a year will there be so much snow that a 4 wheel drive is recommended.

Christmas vacation

We all enjoyed our time in this beautiful cabin, it was very close to restaurants and ski resorts and at the same time secluded. The perfect getaway for a family coming from Florida with kids.

Can’t wait to book again!

This beautiful home was perfectly located in Boone. We loved staying just outside of town. It was quiet and peaceful but close enough to all Boone and surrounding areas have to offer. The Peddlin’ Pig BBQ (just up the street) was excellent! We are already planning out next stay at this awesome property.

Great home and great location

This home was perfect for our short getaway to the mountains. We loved the two separate living areas which gave our family room to spread out. We also really appreciated the location. With the home being between Boone and the ski mountains we found it quite convenient. We will be back.

Charming Cabin

This cabin was just perfect! The kitchen has every thing you need! They have thought of every decor touch to make an enjoyable stay! The beds and linens are cozy and tastefully done! I really enjoyed our mother daughter stay. I would only say to drive with caution on the way to the cabin if the weather calls for snow. However, we are from Florida and not use to driving in snow! Five stars for sure!!

We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter. This property is beautiful. The owners paid alot of attention to decorating detail. It is very close to App campus. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great. Check in wasn’t great. We drove 10 hours and weren’t permitted to check in 30 minutes early. Also, the driveway is very tricky. Narrow and difficult visability. Just be prepared . We did get used to it. All in all would highly recommend as long as you are comfortable with the driveway. Beautiful property.

A mountain cabin welcome

The lodging was extraordinary in appearance, warmth, and comfort. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice. The master bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen well-supplied as well as other rooms. The interior design really jived with the October fall colors. Quite surprising that it was somewhat dressed up ready for Christmas. The outdoor area reflected the mountains theme. Only drawback was the road noise coming from Hwy 105.

Perfect cabin!

We LOVED this property! It was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. The view was amazing. The owner was communicative and professional. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. Would definitely stay again BUT ONLY with 4-wheel drive. I was not prepared for the road in, even in summer. It's steep, narrow, and gravel, and a steep drop off on one side. That said, if you are in the area for a visit to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and are ok driving on roads like that, then book this place! Without hesitation! You'll love it!!!

Worst arrival & depart.etiquette I’ve experienced ever 2.5 hrs w/family in tow sitting in driveway

After a promising “nice COZY cabin” quote from host morning of arrival to last minute notice of a 30 min cleaning delay which later turned into a 2.5 hour wait in the driveway after check in time followed by nothing more than an early AM email reminder that check out is at 11am on the dot as the maids would be there at exactly 11:00 am sharp waiting to clean for the next renter! Nice…

Great cabin very clean with everything you need

We had a great stay. I have no complaints. We left the property as we found it, the instructions on what to do and not to do as we left were very clear. I would rent again. We had a very minor challenge with the Smart TV and I called Property Management number. I figured out on my own how to use the Smart TV. It is clear the owners of this cabin built it for convenience and enjoyment. Being near Boone is a big plus. You will hear the highway below but since we live in Atlanta it was not an issue. With doors closed you could be in Sweden or Alaska you cannot hear traffic. I highly recommend this property. It is a good price per value property. Lots of pluses.

Cabin well decorated and furnished nicely. Amenities listed a hot tub but NO HOT TUB here. Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom but it is not a hot tub. This was a major deciding factor for us so this changed our weekend plans. Notified host of error in listing. He apologized several times and was not aware it was listed as a hot tub in the amenities. Side note, kitchen table is still very sticky. Noted this on previous reviews but not fixed yet.

Perfect Mother/Daughter Weekend Spot

We rented this cabin for our first annual Mother/Daughter weekend with our freshman App State Students. This cabin was beautiful, super convenient and close to everything in Boone! The space was perfect for us, open kitchen for cooking, living room up and downstairs for playing games and doing puzzles. Lots of sleeping room with comfortable beds. All in all this was exactly what we needed and wanted for our weekend. We definetley will book this cabin again!

Our family loved the cabin very spacious very clean it has all the amenities you need for a perfect family vacation. It’s in a prime location close to town but far enough out for privacy. Cozy Cabin in the Woods

A quick weekend in Boone!

Myself and a small group of App State Alums used this space for a weekend football game. Check in and check out was very easy, the beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the cabin was so cozy and warm! We enjoyed the beautiful views and easy access to downtown Boone. We will definitely book again if we're in the area! Thank you!

A lot of space!

Great place has space enough for 8, maybe 9. Great detail by each light switch inside and out and fan and fireplace! Made it very easy to navigate and very nice heating! Floor heating which was awesome!! Loved the place!!
