Welcome to Mountain Family Lodge
Mountain Family Lodge is a large, multi-suite mountain retreat located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Boone and Blowing Rock, and close to Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad. Set among wooded surroundings with long-range mountain character, the property is designed to accommodate large families and groups looking for a shared gathering space with multiple private sleeping areas.
The home can sleep up to 28 guests across multiple suites and additional sleeper sofas, with 9 full bathrooms and two full kitchens to support group stays. The layout is spread across multiple levels, offering a mix of private suites and shared common areas.
Group & Event Use
Large gatherings and events are permitted on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. An additional event impact fee of $2,500 applies to approved events such as weddings or large gatherings that involve additional guests, parking needs, or setup requirements.
Events are not coordinated on-site, but an event coordinator will assist with logistics once approval is granted.
A neighboring property, Appalachian Mountain Lodge, may also be available for rent and can increase total capacity for larger group bookings (up to approximately 70 guests combined when both properties are rented).
