"Lovely little cabin! The only strange thing was it has no microwave. I would also suggest putting curtains up in the bathroom as you can see in the windows at night which made showering an exhibition. The hot tub was nice, though it could use a good cleaning and some more water. The place itself was really quiet and otherwise awesome! The bed was comfy and the HVAC worked well hire they had it set up."

"Overall, everything was great! The mountain views were beautiful, and the place had a cozy, rustic feel. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The lake and pool were drained since it was the off-season, but that was totally fine—we just needed a place to stay while visiting family. The only things I wish the room had were a mini fridge and microwave. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again and explore more , especially once the season starts."

"What an incredible experience! The cabin we rented was the Taoist, and it could not have been more ideal for us. It is located close enough to the activity of the Red River Gorge that you can quickly get to any activity or location you want, and yet it is as isolated as you could ask for. The hosts have thought of nearly every single detail, the property was immaculate, and we had the most relaxing weekend. The single item to note is that the instructions clearly state the need for a 4x4 vehicle, and they mean it. Access is not for a two wheel drive sedan, and i seriously doubt the ability of an all wheel drive to navigate the challenges all the way to the cabin door. Still way more than worth the effort! We rarely stay anywhere more than once as we love to experience new adventures. This property may break our travel habits, and a second visit would be very welcome Kudos to the property owners for all of their efforts, it shows in the offering. Thanks so much, Mark and Aly"

"A nice cozy and secluded property. We loved the hot tub on the deck and room to wander. Decks facing East and West are great morning and evening relaxation spots after daytime adventures. Thank you."

"Cozy, clean, had everything needed as long as you don’t mind “kitty-baths.” (Washing up with sink only). Was closer to road than expected, but no problem, and payoff is proximity to restaurant. Red River Gorge is a great place to visit & this was a nice, handy place to stay. "

"The driveway was terrible. There were limited dishes and glasses and no stoppers in the sink.The grill on the front porch was busted as was the chair on the back deck."
