We enjoyed our stay at your lovely, well appointed rental. It was perfect for the 3 couples from Vancouver, Canada. It was a great location to see the province of Bordeaux. We would highly recommend to others our stay with you. You were helpful and welcoming.
Best Regards,
Lorraine Ambrosio
What an amazing property! It’s charm and warmth were only surpassed by that of the hosts! The house was so comfortable fir the 3 of us. The location was perfect for visiting the wineries and Bordeaux! The hosts are excellent! We had a question about where to eat and they came right over to help us! Would definitely stay there again!
We loved meeting Patrick and Veronique. The most delightful hosts. The peaceful garden setting and surrounding vineyards were perfect for then exploding around St Emillion and the beautiful French countryside. All amenities are provided together with a genuine experience of an old chateaux with its quirks and timeless charm. Thank you to our hosts.
This property is one of the loveliest properties we’ve ever stayed in. The hosts, Patrick and Véronique, were wonderful, greeted us in person, and showed us through the house explaining the layout and function of the property’s features. The home is located between Bordeaux an Saint-Emilion and both are easily accessible if you have a car. The location is extremely quiet and we were amazed at the number of stars we could see in the sky at night. The bedrooms rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. We used the washing machine. There isn’t a dryer, but there was a substantial drying rack available. If we were ever in the area again, I would definitely want to stay there again.
Everything was perfect concerning our stay. The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated and the hosts were welcoming. We were all disappointed to be leaving and wished we had more time to enjoy ourselves in the surrounding area.
A beautiful mansion and even more beautiful are Patrick and Veronique.
The house is great, all I can do is recommend it.
If we ever get near there again I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Beautiful old house with a phenomenal garden and major amenities within 10 min driving that can comfortably sleep 8.5 people (one bunk bed and a crib). Hosts are terrific. Three full bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Two minor issues: Bathtub drains slowly and shower is for those who love high temperatures.
We were met by our hosts as we arrived and shown their property & rental home. They were very helpful with grocery shopping, restaurant suggestions & a few wineries they suggested. The kitchen was great for cooking in two evenings. We were 2 couples and the house was perfect for us. We would recommend this rental.
What a wonderful experience and house. We were greeted by Patrick and Veronique who gave us tips about the surrounding areas. This house is in a wonderful area, close to Saint-Emilion. We had a car and explored the entire region. If you’re into wine, this is the place. Also some great restaurants are nearby, two that stand out are La Reserve du Presbytère and Cosy Tourny in Libourne.

Wonderful experience
We visited with 2 other couples and truly enjoyed this house surrounded by vineyards. Patrick and Veronique were great hosts who treated us to homemade jams upon our arrival and an evening of wine and conversation. We were able to take walks in the country, eat our meals outdoors and relax in the yard under shady cedar trees. It gets hot in the summer, so you might want to bring some fans. Otherwise, we spent a very enjoyable time here.

Beautiful area! Surrounded by vineyards! Very nice home!
Very very clean and comfortable home in a gorgeous and quiet area half way between Bordeaux and St Emilion, It is an interesting home, as it is a mix of traditional very French, and ikea in the kitchen/living room. Has a grill and al fresco dining area outside. Covered parking, wi-fi, and beautiful environment around the home. Owners are very kind and helpful. We would have liked a double set of towels and an additional tablecloth, but there is a washer if we
hadn't been so lazy. Super convenient location! We had a very comfortable time. It is a gite which was a positive surprise!
Sehr ruhige Unterkunft mitten in den Weinbergen, großzügige Zimmer, Küche gut ausgestattet, sehr freundliche Gastleute.
