Simple 2 night stay for 1 person. Excellent location. Clean comfortable room. Friends stayed in double room that was very compact. Room was hot and AC only allows to turn down to 23°C and street quite loud so hard to keep window open. Breakfast was okay (Not vegan friendly). Coffee/latte machine. Yogurt, cheese, simple cereal and plain bread and delicious croissants. Fruit cup seemed very old. Next time I would forgo the 12euro breakfast and sit out in any of the beautiful street cafes or by the river with a coffee and croissant (or 2) and pick up some fresh fruit at the market or supermarket.

Everything that needed to be operational worked and staff were courteous. The property and rooms are very small with furniture and fittings displaying the effects of substantial wear and tear.

We wnjoy our stay
All the staff, from the reception to the restaurant for breakfast, were exceptionally kind and friendly. The parking is infront of the hotel has a discount for the hotel guests. Very good location, walking distance from historical downtown.

I had trouble breathing the stagnant air in this hotel. It is an old hotel, on the low end of amenities. Small elevator. Small rooms. At least there was a window that I could open for fresh air. I paid for breakfast in advance but I got claustrophobic in the restaurant and left to get breakfast in a coffee shop next door. I was grateful for a bed, toilet, shower and sink. The staff was kind. I honestly don’t know how they can breathe at work, but they are kind and good people.

Great location, very nice staff, nice view of the city, but overall bad rooms, would not recommend staying. Warning, the pictures make the rooms look a lot bigger and better kept than they actually are. There was a very unpleasant smell in the lobby and on the floor of our apartment. The room as I said was extremely small, and the bathroom as well. The walls were unkept and had stains everywhere. One of the decorative pillows had a cigarette hole burned into it.

Although this hotel location is a great advantage to visit the heart of the attractions in Bordeaux, beware of the disadvantages involved in a very small place, delays to check in due to rooms not being ready and general lack of care by staff when it comes to provide service beyond the strictly necessary. If you're lucky, the staff will be helpful, if not you are very much on your own. The lift is the smallest lift I've ever seen and you should not consider this place if you are expecting to do anything else in the hotel besides going to bed or take a quick shower.

Location in Bordeaux is excellent. Easy walking distance to the city center. Hotel is not fancy - picture on Orbitz makes it look nicer than it is. Water temperature alternated between cold and scaling during shower within a few seconds. Funny odor in the lobby entrance and in stairwell.

Pleasant city centre hotel, great breakfast
For a city centre home, it is good value. The beds were fairly comfortable. The breakfast was far better than expected. If you have a car to park, check in first at the hotel- it will cut your parking costs by 40%.

The staff on front desk were all friendly , the room was on third floor and elevator npt working so i had to walk up 85 steps to reach floor 3 with my baggage and also each time i returned for 4 days, room was tired and could do with some repaint bathroom door, the shower was small but, good, plenty of hot water and good pressure, view was quite ok and many eating places and shops nearby, short walk to the river and main attractions, On last day elevator was working but i only used it to take my bag down and check out.

The location and view were great! There is AC which at this time of the season, AC is a MUST! The one MAJOR thing about this location is the room smelled like a dirty toilet! I’m thinking it was the piping and such, but it was so bad that I could smell it in my nose for about an hour or two after we checked out. I couldn’t sleep because the smell was all over. I gagged every time we returned from an outing. Even though the room looked clean, I felt dirty because of the smell.

The rooms are basic but somewhat cosy, the bed was comfortable and the view nice. However, the bathroom was a bit dated and could use a renovation. We paid a relatively cheap price so the value was good.

I loved how this Hotel was right in the thick of things. So close to see most things but if not, you can jump on the tram which was a 100mt walk away. The single room I had was very spacious and kept very clean. Reception people could speak English well and were very helpful.

Great hotel. Perfect location.
We had a very nice stay here. Location is perfect. Close to everything you need. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the skylight in the top floor room was a great aspect.

Good value City Centre location
A really nice location and very good value for a City Centre. Bordeaux is gorgeous and easy to get around because it has a superb public transport system.The hotel is five minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and there are lots of places to eat etc nearby.

The location was A+++, close to everything you could want to see, staff were good, parking was convenient. The room was quite run down, one night we had a terrible deep fried oil smell from the restaurant down stairs and they need to freshen up the mouldy silicon the bathroom.

Good for short stay, budget conscious traveller
Hard to get a decent hotel with good location at a reasonable price, so this is good for the budget conscious traveller. It is the worst for sleep quality with paper thin walls and the single rooms all grouped together - your bed at the door and a tiny corridor outside so you hear everything including an extremely irritating hum that ran all night - May have been from the aircon which was actually too good for a tiny room, but greatly needed in a Bordeaux summer. Not a hotel for claustrophobic guests - tiny lift, and an even smaller shower where the shower curtain wraps around you as you press up against the taps - and I’m an very average sized lady! They may be trying to be eco-friendly however a plastic coffee cup was ridiculous for a hot coffee.
