Facing the river, in the heart of the World Heritage site and the antic shops area, in a building dating back to 1793 completely refurbished in 2013, on the 4th floor with private elevator,and A/C, a luxury apartment (100m²), very calm and bright, comfortable, elegantly decorated, with a terrace offering an amazing view overlooking the city, the river and its bridges, hosting up to five people.

The flat has a prestigious and very central location, tram on the doorstep (direct to train station, Congress hall and Exhibition Center of Bordeaux-lac). Tourist office, all shops, many restaurants and main sightseeing attractions at walking distance.

Flat including a large entrance, a 40 m2 living room giving onto the terrace, with one sofabed, a fully equipped open kitchen, (with oven, microwave, dish washer, coffe machine...) one bedroom (16m2) with one queen size bed et one bedroom (18m2) with three single beds, a large bathroom with double basin, shower and jet bath. Parking space in building garage: 10 € per day.

This property is fantastic! Berenice was so accommodative of us getting in a little early, allowing us to drop our bags off a few hours before check-in. The layout of the apartment is very nice and the has a wonderful charm to it with the stone walls. But the best things about the place is location and the view. The view is spectacular, and we so enjoyed sitting on the terrace sipping wine and enjoying views of the river, especially at night. The neighborhood is also fantastic, we never had to take a taxi to go to eat, everything you need is all right there.We will definitely come back!

From the moment we first met Berenice in the doorway of her wonderful apartment in the charming Chartrons district, we knew we had picked the perfect place for our two week stay in Bordeaux. The river view from the penthouse terrace was magnificent, and the apartment was exactly as described on the VRBO website. Everything we needed was in place and ready, and Berenice was always available to answer our questions or provide local advice on nearby bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. We recommend this apartment without reservation; you will be pleased! Chapeau and thanks to Berenice and Georges for their wonderful hospitality.

Excellent apartment close to tram and restaurants

It is a beautiful apartment with plenty of space. Very well stocked with anything you may need or have forgotten. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The view of the river from the terrace is spectacular.

Exceptional Stay in Bordeaux

Needed a place to stay between trips. What a find. Spacious, had all the appliances we needed (including washer and dryer), roomy bathroom, overlooked the Garonne River. and was located amongst lots of restaurants and shops. Even had a nearby tram stop. Additionally, our host went out of her way to make us comfortable with the features of the apartment and answer our questions about Bordeaux. Superb!

Great location and great view

The host is very nice to help us since the moment we checked in. She responded quickly and make our stay worry free. The apartment is in the great neighborhood, Chartrons and very close (walking distance) to the downtown. We love our stay!

Lovely location

The apartment was nicely located to walk to the sights we wanted to see in the city. The host of the property is extremely organized regarding local interests, food and wine. She has everything very nicely organized in the apartment and is easy to contact. The home is very clean and comfortable making it a nice stop in Bordeaux.

This apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. Berenice and her team are fantastic and communication is excellent. The location of the apartment is great, Chartrons and all its restaurants and shops is just a few minutes away behind the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Bérénice's apartment. She was a terrific host and even gave us recommendations for the next part of our trip in Pay Basque. The apartment is clean, spacious, and in a terrific location near the tram and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend.

Superb!

If you are going to Bordeaux this is the apartment to stay in. We were there for 7 days so seen most areas of the city and this was in the best location, not too far from the Centre and there is a lovely square just behind with lots of restaurants. The apartment has beautiful views of the river, cannot fault it and am currently recommending to friends. Berenice is a great host and the apartment was spotless, comfortable and large. If only all holidays lets could be like this!

Outstanding View and Exceptional Host

The apartment is right on the river with a wonderful rooftop view. It's in a perfect spot in the heart of Bordeaux. There are restaurants, historic sites, and shopping all within easy walking distance. The host provided a wonderful information booklet in both French and English. She gave us a wonderful introduction to the room, the amenities and the city. She was a very warm and helpful person and was incredibly helpful with every aspect of our visit. We absolutely recommend the accommodations and the host. She truly is a Super Host.

An amazing apartment

What a fabulous place - it's even better than we imagined. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, wonderful views, quiet yet close to everything. The attention to detail is incredible - including the different coloured towels so each guest knows which is theirs. Berenice provides great information on what to do and communication was fast and clear. It really is a luxurious place and we can't wait to return.

Beautiful apartment in the best spot

Our 5 night stay in this apartment has been wonderful! We cannot fault a thing! Super comfy, clean beds. Very spacious, well appointed apartment with everything you need to feel as if you have your “home away from home” in Bordeaux! Lovely view of the river and city from the rooftop balcony. Berenice is easy to communicate with for all aspects of your stay and a welcoming host! 100% recommend her lovely apartment for your stay in Bordeaux.

Beautiful view, comfortable stay

Berenice and her staff were very nice and graciously welcomed us to their beautiful apartment. The terrace has a gorgeous view of Bordeaux. The apartment is very comfortable. (Save the four floor walk-up - HOWEVER, good exercise after all of the delicious food and wine we consumed.) It was a very hot week, but every room is very nicely cooled with multiple, quiet AC units. We slept well. The location is spectacular. Everything is walking distance. Behind the apartment is Saint Louis-Des-Chartrons and a quiet square with a delicious collection of boulangerie, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Apartment in Bordeaux

My husband and I stayed in Bérénice's beautiful apartment in April for 4 nights. We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked inside. You can not go wrong staying here. Berenice and her husband are wonderful hosts and made our stay in Bordeaux amazing. I just wish that we had been able to stay longer. I look forward to someday coming back and sharing this wonderful apartment and city with family or friends. The views were amazing and their are many restaurants close by. We ate every evening meal downstairs at the first place as you walk out the doors. We walked everywhere we went and we were out many nights past midnight and never once did we feel uncomfortable in this beautiful city. The proximity to the river for walking or running is great. Do yourself a favor and book this apartment just make sure that you stay during the time that they have the market. Berenice was such a pleasure to work with both before, during and after our trip I hope to return to Bordeaux soon it was a highlight of our 6 week trip to France.

Overlooking beautiful Bordeaux

The apartment is beautiful and spacious. Extremely comfortable, lacking nothing. One of the nicest VRBO's that we have ever stayed in. The view over Bordeaux and the river creates an elegant ambiance. We loved Bordeaux. We stayed 5 nights and there was more that we wanted to see. Great restaurants everywhere ( kitchens close from 2:30 until 7:30 and many closed on Sun. and/or Mon.), but that didn't stop us from having great lunches and dinners everyday. Berenice was wonderful. Very professional with booking and always sensitive to our needs. While away on vacation she arranged for Eliane to meet us and acclimate us to the details of the apartment. She left us some scrumptious caneles, called to see how things were going, visited us upon her return and offered to call the cab the early morning of our departure. When you combine the attentiveness of the owner, with this gorgeous apartment, you get a five star rating.

A very nice apartment but with obstructed terrace views

The main reason we selected this property for our stay was the `terrace with a view`. However this wonderful view from the terrace or inside the apartment is only visible if standing up as there is a one metre high wall on all sides of the terrace. If sitting at the small table or loungers provided on the terrace then all that you will see is the wall, very dissapointing indeed & this should have been made more clear in the property description. The apartment itself is very spacious, comfortable, & ideally located. The parking in the garage is a little tricky to access other than for a small car. On the final Sunday of our stay we decided to buy some items from the market in front of the apartment & cook an evening meal, but found that the kitchen hob did not work & had to waste the food purchased.
