The hotel was very nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The lack of available parking was the only downside, and the public parking lot was pricey at €30 ($35) per day.

Ok place for a night or two. Excellent location and ok rooms. A bottle of 0.33ml water costs Euro 4.5 (they do not offer even a complimentary water…). Overall ok value for money for a short trip

The location is perfect. View from room fantastic. We could walk everywhere. It was very close to many tour meeting points but still tranquil. The room is generous in size. Staff were great. The hotel is very clean but outdated and there were no outlets but the beside tables. It was like stepping back 30 years ago.

The hotel ideally situated for the centre of Bordeaux, a few metres from the Quinconces. Transport connections first class, and an easy ride to the airport.The staff helpful, the room very comfortable, quite and cool, less of a problem when we stayed, but in July would have been an issue. Breakfast was good, and prepared us for the boat trip...! The Tourist office literally over the road. Normandie surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly return!

Kind and helpful staff. Air conditioned and comfortable bed. Large sink area in the bathroom. Lots of places to put travel items - drawers, table tops and closet. Perfect for travelers to Bordeaux. Situated across from the tourist office and major tram stop. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Extra nice breakfast selection. Ask for a room toward the back of the hotel to avoid street noise.

This was a perfect match and met all my requirements. Absolutely the best location! The rooms are small but that didn't matter to me as I was solo. Everything in the room was in working condition, including the AC. Overall a great hotel experience and the price was very satisfactory.

Can't be a better location for those that are looking to explore Bordeaux. Hotel is very clean and reception personnel very courteous and helpful. One more thing, heard that some hotels around same area have no A/C like Normandie, which in hot summer days is a big inconvenience.

Extra large room (comfort double), very well maintained for its age, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location. Only downside would be the noise from the tram line nearby but they don’t seem to operate late in the night or too early in the morning.
