The location is easy to find. The property is older and in need of a glow up. It is clean and neat and was once very opulent. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was average. The prix fixe dinner was average We got a flat tire from a hole in the driveway and had to have roadside assistance to come fix it Overall, an average stay.

Room is wonderful. Maybe the best mattress is all of France! Great dinner in the Brasserie. The hotel is very tired and needs an update, but the room and restaurant are really great.

Weird, sad place

A very strange hotel. On paper looks fantastic but was actually very tired and seemed quite empty. It is an ambitious hotel development gone wrong. One or two wings were closed almost falling down. The pool was closed. I don’t recommend the breakfast. Everything was shut by 10pm.

Great value in the Medoc

Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them.

Værelset var det bedste ved hotellet. Vi havde en juniorsuite med terrasse. Værelset var rummeligt og med en god seng. Hotellet virker forsømt, og receptionisten der tog imod os virkede ligeglad og gad ikke rigtigt forklare os vejen til værelset, for det var lidt besværligt, så vi måtte følge skiltene. Vi havde morgenmad med i prisen. Det kan ikke anbefales, hvis det ikke er inkluderet i prisen for værelset. Det koster 21 euro pr person, og det er det ikke værd. De tre dage vi var der, var det den samme skål med frugt (appelsinstykker og kirsebær) der var buffeten hver dag, og appelsinerne blev mere og mere tørre og kirsebærrene færre og færre. Osten var også den samme og fik tørre kanter. Der var frisk frugt, abrikoser, og de første to jeg fik fat på var mugne på undersiden. Området er roligt, men turen derned er lang ad en snoet og meget hullet vej. Facaderne mangler maling, og “haven” er mest bare højt græs. Det er ikke et sted, man har lyst til at “hænge ud”, men det er ok til et par overnatninger, hvis man vil besøge området.

L’établissement gagnerait à être rénové, ensemble vieillot mais chambre propre et confortable. Restaurant correct, simple mais bon. À déplorer : piscine extérieure inutilisable, spa tenu par une seule personne..donc rdv impossible sans réservation des mois à l’avance. Petite piscine intérieure… Dommage car beau domaine, très calme. Plus orienté golf que séjour bien-être. Personnel très agréable.
