Welcome to our holiday rental “Auszeit unter Reet” in Dörpum—your very own personal retreat in idyllic North Frisia.
If you’re longing for peace, nature, and Nordic cosiness, you’ve come to the right place. Our lovingly furnished thatched-roof apartment is nestled in the rolling countryside around Bordelum—just a few kilometres from the North Sea—and offers you the perfect place to simply take a deep breath.

With a generous 140 m² of space, up to four people have plenty of room to relax, daydream, and enjoy themselves. The apartment spans two floors and combines modern amenities with rustic charm. In the open-concept living and dining area, you can cook and eat together or snuggle up by the crackling fireplace—especially nice on cooler days. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: an espresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, and much more are at your disposal.

In the two bedrooms—one on the ground floor and one upstairs—you’ll find quiet retreats with comfortable beds where you can enjoy a restful night’s sleep. And after an eventful day, the two modern bathrooms with showers provide a refreshing break.
Whether you’re watching TV (three sets are available), reading, or surfing the web via Wi-Fi—you decide how much of your daily routine you want to bring along.

A real highlight is our large terrace overlooking the spacious garden: Here, your day begins with birdsong and may end with a glass of wine under the starry sky. While the kids play on the lawn, you can relax in the beach chair or fire up the grill. And best of all: Your four-legged friend is also very welcome here!

The surrounding area also has plenty to offer: Explore the North Frisian countryside on a walk, bike ride, or jog. Those who enjoy fishing will find what they’re looking for here, as will anyone looking forward to a trip to the nearby North Sea. Cultural discoveries—museums, churches, small cafés—round out the holiday experience. Restaurants and shopping are conveniently located nearby.
