"The good:Nicely renovated guesthouse, decorated in mid-century style. Good breakfast buffet. The bad: On a gravel road off the main highway. Only pizza available for dinner."

"This was a great place for my wife, our 2 kids and a friend who was traveling with us. The studio (extra house) is great for that reason. The Hot tub was a nice addition to enjoy in the evenings and mornings."

"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food....

"We loved our stay and your hotel. My only suggestion is to consider preserving an area for viewing the Aurora and the night sky. the area back by the hot tub would work well if the lights were changed to minimize the light interference. "
Luxury House with Hot Tub close to Snæfellsnes National Park, Iceland top five
10/10 Excellent
"The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The layout of the house is very nice, there were some toys and games for the kids to play with and a separate TV. We enjoyed the hot tub and the overall space available inside. We were lucky to see an amazing Northern Light show on two different nights!"
"Very nice hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Also, withing walking distance of several other great restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a paid breakfast if needed. Rooms were very nice and larger than others we had during the week. "
Fossatún Camping Pods & cottages – Sleeping bag accommodation
10/10 Excellent
"The property was very nice, I enjoyed the interactive troll themed hiking trails and spring fed hot tubs in the evening. Cabins were clean and cozy, probably the comfiest mattress I slept on durning my trip. Each cabin had a small mini fridge and the shared bathrooms were only a 30 second walk away. Restaurant on site was good as well, friendly staff and delicious food. The waterfall is overlooks was stunning. All in all this was my favorite stay of my trip, I hope to return in the future. "
"Hotel Husafell is a beautiful place to get away and enjoy the idyllic Iceland countryside. Lovely paths to walk on, gorgeous views, thermal heated pools, and an awesome happy hour and restaurant. The food was outstanding. The staff at the Husafell Hotel were also most helpful and kind. Maybe on my next visit there, I will be able to see the northern lights! "
