Step back in time with this spacious three-bedroom home - the perfect blend of nostalgia and relaxation. This comfortable retro retreat is located on beautiful De Anza Country Club, with great golf course and mountain views. Close proximity to town, golf, tennis, mountains, hiking, bike riding, wildlife viewing, stargazing, and more. You may even be treated with a visit from the local mountain sheep grazing on the golf course. This custom estate is filled with character and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Originally built as a custom golf course estate, this spacious home boasts over 3,000 sq foot of living space on an acre lot with a gorgeous backyard pool with waterfall, spacious en-suite Master Bedroom 1 with a king sized bed, 2nd Master Bedroom with two queen sized beds and en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a third bedroom/den with a king sized bed, sofabed, and office space. An additional powder room in the main hallway adds convenience for guests staying in the den. Original retro kitchen boasts an eat-in area, wood block island, original built-in Sub Zero refrigerator with ice maker, Thermador stovetop, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, and complimentary coffee station. Backyard oasis features a private pool and several patios to enjoy outdoor dining and lounging. Fully furnished home captures original vintage-era flair with a sunken living room, tray ceilings, retro wet bar, formal dining room, vintage high-end appliances, and beautiful private portico entrance. We welcome long-term guests! Please contact host directly to negotiate your long-term stay discount. Disclosures: For young families, pool does not have its own fence perimeter, but pool is located inside a fully fenced back yard. Love Borrego Springs!

We had an amazing stay! This vacation rental was perfect for girls' weekend/family get-together. The host was great, and the house was spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. Borrego is one of our favorite spots and the home location was ideal. We can’t wait to come back!"

Large and immaculate home on golf course

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Grilled while overlooking the tenth fairway. Swam twice a day in pool. Large rooms and well appointed.

Private relaxing location

The home is luxurious, well maintained and well supplied. Although you back to the golf course, it has a very private backyard with lovely pool. Relaxing strolls through a beautiful trees neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Very quiet location too. .

Fathers Day

My family of 10 have been going to Borrego Springs for 6 years and this will be our 2nd. stay in this wonderful home. It is large enough for all of us to have room to spread out but most of our time is spent at the pool and patio. Love the pool perfect depth for fun. Patio has a nice outdoor fan which we definitely used. Borrego Springs was VERY hot this weekend but the house was cool and a nice relief from the heat. Hopefully we are able to return next year for another fun filled Fathers Day.

A nice, spacious and comfortable home.

We have stayed in six different properties in Borrego Springs over the last 15 years with mixed experiences. I would recommend this property for adults and families with older kids who are clean and well behaved as the carpeting is white and could be easily stained. This property is conveniently located and has ample parking. There are plenty of beds and the layout is nice and worked well for our group of six. The neighborhood and house are both very quiet and peaceful. The owner/ manager is very nice, responsive and flexible. Check in is easy and since the house was ready early, she let us check in early. All of the appliances and systems worked well and there were no problems. Recommended

Lots of Space for Family of 7

Our group was 5 adults and 2 kids and we were very comfortable. The house was clean, there was plenty of space, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The pool isn’t heated but there is the option to get it heated for an extra fee. Unfortunately, we found out the pool heater wasn’t working properly after we arrived so we couldn’t swim. Rachel tried her best to get it fixed but the pool guy and electrician couldn’t fix it in time. We still enjoyed the house overall but it really would have been amazing to be in a warm pool and star gaze. The location is close to everything. We had a fun hike, saw the sculptures, explored the town, and took the kids to the new local library and park. We recommend Rachel’s place for bigger groups and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property

This house was exceptional. It really does not have mountain views, except limited out the front, but it is otherwise represented well and located on a quiet neighborhood at De Anza and has a wonderful relaxing back yard. The rooms are expansive, beds very comfortable, and the kitchen well appointed. Great for entertaining with large living room and dining room. Golf for our stay was only for club members due to irrigation issues and only 9 holes available. That is being remedied and should change in the near future I think. Just something to know if golf is important to visits (it was not for us). Communication with the owner was wonderful and prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay

We came last summer and loved it, and returned this year and loved it even more. Though the temp was triple digits outside we were very comfortable with the pool and AC indoors. This year they added parasols which were great during the sunniest part of the day. Looking forward to coming back.
