"The house has a very nicely supplied kitchen and the beds we’re comfortable. There are two double beds and one twin, not three doubles. There are three bathrooms, but only one has a stand up shower. One has no shower and one has a handheld shower wand. We had no hot water for our 1-night say, which was really unfortunate, given it was quite warm and we’d all walked a bunch and needed to clean up."

"Great place to spend our five week stay in Ireland! It felt like home for my husband and I along with our six children. The home is cozy and spacious inside and beautifully decorated. Loved seeing the horses pass being exercised along the road. We enjoyed eating at the Thatched cottage often and felt like regulars by the end of our stay. "The village of Silvermines is nestled on the side of Keeper mountain in a gorgeous valley with the amenities of Nenagh a quarter hour away by car and the beauty of Lough Derg and the Shannon River also very nearby. We were comfortable in the spacious two storey apartment and had ready access to some really lovely parts of the country."
