The home was large and in a good location, which were the main positives of the stay. Unfortunately, the property did not match the listing photos and was very disappointing upon arrival. The home appeared much more updated and well-maintained in the photos than it actually was.Cleanliness was a major issue throughout the property. The home felt generally unclean and not properly maintained. Surfaces, furniture, and high-touch areas appeared worn and not thoroughly cleaned. The couch was a muddy gray color that looked heavily used and not well cared for, and there were visible signs of grime and lack of upkeep throughout the space. The kitchen and bathroom especially did not feel clean or sanitary, and the bathroom in particular felt small, outdated, and poorly maintained. Even basic items like the towels felt unclean in appearance and were very small and low quality.Communication from the host was also disappointing. I received the initial confirmed booking message, but after that, responses were often slow when I had questions or needed assistance.While the price was on the more affordable side, the biggest disappointment was that the actual condition and cleanliness of the property did not reflect what was shown in the listing. More accurate photos and a clearer description of the home’s current condition would have set better expectations.
