Friendly staff at check-in, a well-stocked room off the lobby filled with complimentary candies (and to-go bags!), and charmingly-designed rooms made this a lovely stay. The location off Harvard Square made getting to and from the hotel so easy.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Harvard Square. Have been to the area many times for various things but never stayed until now. Lovely room and nice amenities. We enjoyed room service and a lovely view of campus.

The room was very comfortable. The blackout curtains coupled with the wonderful sheets and mattress make it hard to get out if bed in the morning. The common space was large, and there was a room that offered complimentary drinks and snacks off to the side.

The Charles Hotel has one of the most relaxing lobbies, cushy seating and ample outlets to recharge your phone. The gym is one of the best I’ve used at a hotel, let alone a resort. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. 👍

The lobby, restaurant, staff and amenities were great. Our room faced a building so not a great view and the shower curtain didn’t keep the water from going on the floor. The bed was super comfortable and the room nicely decorated. Overall I enjoyed our stay but would make sure to get a room with a better view next time.

The best part about this hotel is its walkability to everything at Harvard. Being so close gives you the freedom to pop back whenever you need to recharge, shower, or just take a quick break between activities.

Very nice small touches like excellent apples and the reading nook. There are bikes in the garage but no way to rent and the app based rides aren’t suitable for children or families. might be nice to invest in that because the hotel is on a bikeway. no pool. no hot tub. no outdoor dining despite nice terrace. very quiet at night.
