The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful - for the price, this place is a good deal. Coffee selection (brewed by cup) was excellent.
Spotless and very clean. The service was fast and warm. Parking very accessible. The only ick is that they sell none. If you want water or a can of soda you have to go to a different place or drink from the sink🙁

Liked: Cleanliness
We were doing a week drive getaway and stopping along the way. Overall clean - was good for a one night stay, however, no elevator and our room was on second floor - not convenient for lugging suitcases
Clean room, room was quit comfortable, staff was attentive the amenities was awesome spent one night but I will definitely be back . I had always wanted to visit there before but never got the chance, but finally it happen and I was blown away I almost extended my time next time I will be there longer.
Price was very good. If you need to stay in the immediate west burbs of Boston (Newton, Watertown, Belmont), this is centrally located. Bed was comfy. Only criticism was that the shades are a little short so it was rough trying to sleep in.
Staff were always accommodating during my longer than expected stay.
I would recommend little things be fixed like chipped mirror in bathroom, missing light on one nightstand and chair be put in for desk

Can't say much more than: it was fine. Nothing special, especially for the price. The room was clean, but the dresser drawer handle was broken. Not a big deal. Would I stay there again, sure, if I had to. Again, it was just fine.

It"s an older hotel with stairs, so bear that in mind if you have mobility issue or a lot of heavy things to bring to the room. But for the price & location, it was fine for my needs. My room was recently renovated. Very nice. Clean & comfortable bed. I stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet. I didn't hear anything at all. Parking was easy with a indoor garage attached to the hotel. I plan to stay there again.

Clean and quiet. Only issues, bulbs were out in the bathroom so the one bulb that was working was dim. No shampoo. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, it had to be slammed to make it shut. The door to the room didn't latch unless you made sure you pulled it closed behind you a security issue if you didn't make sure it was locked before you left.
=The bedside lamp didn’t work. They had to replace it.
=The room’s telephone didn’t work t all.
=In the walk in shower, they had liquid body wash but they didn’t provide a face cloths to use it.
=The regular overhead showerhead worked, but the handheld shower appliance didn’t.
=Television had Google TV with no LOCAL channels at all. There was no local programming; NO current NBC, PBS, ABC, CBS; no regular programming/local weather/late night shows.
=That said, the room was very clean. They offered free parking which, in the Boston area hotels typically could range from $35-$60 per night..

Everyone was very helpful, and the room was really very nice. This is a small hotel in a semi-industrial area, which may not be as appealing as a large hotel downtown, but it was a good place to stay while I was in Boston. I also agree that the reviews are mixed, but my room was very clean though, and the bed was comfortable and everything was well maintained. I realized that the negative reviews are all pretty old, so it looks like they may have done some major renovations lately. The recent reviews seem much better on all platforms. So I really had no complaints, other than the small desk (this was a business trip, and I had to do a lot of work in the room, including teleconferences). I looked at some other rooms while I was checking out, and it looks like other rooms had better desks. The internet was great though, even for online meetings. Compared to the big hotels downtown, I think this is OK, and definitely a better value. Belle's Burgers down the street (5 minute walk) was outstanding (really, you should try it), and I ended up eating there twice.
