"Just had a 7 night stay with my husband and children- 16,14,11. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. My daughter has a wheat and dairy intolerance and they were happy to let us use things we brought with us as well as buying milk and making a cake that she was able to have. The pool was big enough for them to play and have fun but not too busy like some bigger hotels. We are looking to come back next year."

"The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time."

"Very nice hotel. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Food was very good and service in the restaurant was very good too. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms and it was very comfortable with a large corner balcony accessible from both rooms. Rooms well cleaned daily. Although a minor issue was that we had a coffee pod machine which I thought was a bonus, but the two pods supplied, surprisingly weren't replenished. First world problems, eh!! We would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again. Pool was great, quite large - we didn't use the second smaller pool, but it looked very nice and peaceful. "

"Great accommodation, staff are wonderful. Breakfast was delicious! Additional food and bar drinks are pricey compared to town, not helped by poor exchange rate. Would definitely recommend, lovely walk into town. "

"Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location, But Some Details Let It Down We recently stayed at Castello Boutique Suites in Sissi, Crete to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, we had a very good holiday. The hotel made a wonderful gesture by upgrading us to a larger suite with a private side pool, which felt so special and really set the tone for our stay. The suite itself was stylish and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent every morning, and the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk from the charming port of Sissi, with plenty of tavernas and shops nearby. That said, as this is marketed as a five-star hotel, we were a little disappointed by some details. Positives: – Thoughtful anniversary upgrade to a suite with private pool. – Beautiful, modern, and spacious room. – Fantastic location (2 minutes from Sissi port). – Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and quality. – Friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. – Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Negatives: – Private pool jets and lights didn’t work; nothing was fixed during our stay. – Pool needed topping up and sides had algae. – No towel hooks in the bathroom; “do not disturb” system broken. – Daily housekeeping, but balcony wasn’t cleaned in 8 nights. – Cups and glasses not refreshed — had to wash them ourselves. No blinds/curtains: poolside window let in sun at 5am, back window was lit at night, affecting sleep and"
