Adorable Remodeled Cottage on Beautiful Mann Lake

Adorable, completely remodeled in 2017, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on Mann Lake.

***We have available for rent only to our guests: 22' San Pan pontoon boats with 60 or 115 hp 4 stroke motors, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Delivered to your shore! For rent daily or weekly. Please contact us for boat rental rates and reservations.

Our four vacation rentals in Northern Wisconsin are Mann Lake Cottage WI and our Manitowish Lake Condos.

Mann Lake is a 253 acre lake located in Vilas County. It is 90% state forest--it looks just like Canadian wilderness! It has a maximum depth of 18 feet. Public boat landing one minute from cottage on Mann Lake Rd. Fish include Panfish and Northern Pike.

Woodgrain tile floors, hickory cabinets, cute kitchen with Quartz countertops, dining room table (with extra, built-in leaf) seats 10.

Cozy living room with fieldstone gas fireplace, Pottery Barn leather couch, chair, and ottoman, a futon, and a flat screen smartTV with DirecTv.

Free highspeed wifi. Ceiling fans in every room. Pioneer Wall Mount High Efficiency Ductless A/C.

Three bedrooms sleep 6 in beds. Plus the comfortable futon in the living room sleeps two.

Stackable washer and dryer. Firepit with chairs right by the water's edge. Gas grill for dinners 'in.' Propane included.

Amazing lake views from living room, kitchen, and the two Queen bedrooms. Third bedroom even has lake view if the door is open! Cottage is located very close to lake (about 30 feet from deck to the lake), very gradual lawn slope to the lake, and nice big deck on the lakeside.

Watch beavers, eagles, loons, turtles, ducks, beavers, otters, muskrats, deer, and more wildlife right from the dock or the living room. This is the perfect, peaceful lake to get close to nature! With only about 15 cottages along the north shore, the rest of the lake is pristine wilderness, 90% state forest.

Sandy-ish frontage is great for canoeing, tubing, kayaking, paddleboarding, waterskiing, fishing.

Paved bike trail system connects Boulder Junction, Sayner, and Manitowish Waters.

Escanaba, Raven, and Razorback and Winman and (plenty more) have hiking and mountain bike trails. Plenty of adventure for adults, families and kids.

Boulder Junction area is also a great destination in the Fall. Hunting and hiking, boating and fishing, awesome fall colors! Nearby Manitowish Waters and Eagle River are also known for their Cranberry Harvest. Many of the local cranberry growers offer marsh tours.

A great Winter getaway as well, located about 60 minutes from Indianhead, Blackjack, Whitecap and Powderhorn downhill ski resorts in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Great skiing, old school charm!

Boulder Junction area is one of the most popular snowmobile destinations in northern Wisconsin! Mann Lake Cottage is conveniently located right off of the snowmobile trail!

The Winman offers great groomed trails for cross country skiing (skate and classic), fat biking, snowshoeing. Warming hut there, and dogs are welcome! Minocqua Winter Park is also world famous for its xc ski trails!

Snowshoeing on the lake and woods is great! Ice fishing! Ice skating! Hockey! Hot chocolate and warming beverages in local pubs! Great restaurants! Small town charm! Peaceful walks in the woods! A good book by the fireplace! Plenty of snow for everyone!

Mann Lake Cottage is in a great location, easy to get to, just 10-15 minutes north of Minocqua, and 3 1/4 Hours straight north of Madison. One minute off Hwy M in Vilas County, centrally located to Arbor Vitae, Boulder Junction, Sayner, Manitowish Waters, Woodruff, Minocqua, St Germain, Eagle River, Mercer.

This was a very quaint up north cabin on a quiet lake for a lot of wildlife sightseeing. Great dock and views. Fishing for Crappie, perch, and northern was surprisingly easy. Comfortable mattress and furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin! The quiet lake was perfect for family paddle boarding and kayaking, and the wooded surroundings made it so peaceful. Even with some summer muck/weeds near the shore due to a warm summer, once we were out on the water it was pure relaxation. Great central location near so many of our favorite spots, and Rebecca was such a kind and responsive host. Wonderful memories made—we can’t wait to be back in the north woods!

The cottage was very well appointed and clean, and the location was great! Mann Lake is a beautiful and quiet lake with a considerable mount of shoreline in public ownership. We shared the lake with a pair of bald eagles and 6 swans. The cottage had really great visual access to the lake from inside and from the porch which runs the length of the cottage. We're hoping to come back next Fall.

A perfect winter getaway....

Two adult couples stayed here for a X-C Ski weekend in the great Northwoods and this was the perfect place. Very clean and cozy with comfortable beds....it's a convenient location close to the cross country ski locations that we frequent. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Cabin in a Great Location

We enjoyed this well decorated cabin with three sliding glass that provided gorgeous views of the lake from the living room and two of the three bedrooms. In addition to the convenience of kayaking on site, we were in close proximity of several other lakes as well as paved biking trails. It was the perfect location and temporary home for our October get a way.

Christmas getaway

Beautiful escape

The cottage was beautiful and the quiet lake provided the serenity of the Northwoods that we love. The location was perfect - secluded, but with easy access to both Boulder Junction and Minocqua. The hosts were generous and very helpful when needed. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Cabin for Snowmobilers!

We stayed at this property three separate weekends this winter for snowmobiling. We love the location since it’s central to most of our favorite places we ride to. The living space is cozy. The beds are comfortable. We appreciate that it’s dog friendly so our pups could come too. They loved playing in the snow out on the lake. We communicated 1 issue/inconvenience that was remedied quickly. We look forward to returning next winter!

The best!

We could not have been happier with this cottage. Pictures and descriptions were spot-on. The location is incredibly convenient to both Minocqua and Boulder Junction. The lake was wonderful and the views from the cottage stunning! The cottage was both Northwoods warm & cozy while being very nicely updated. Super clean! Nice quiet street. We can’t wait to return!

PERFECT CABIN GETAWAY

The cabin was very homey. Perfect spot on the water and plenty of wildlife. Had all of the amenities of home. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds and nice indoor fire place. Hiking, biking trails near by and some shopping. It was very quiet and secluded. We loved our stay. Wished it was our own cabin.

Peaceful week in the Northwoods

Our week at Mann Lake Cottage was exactly what we expected. From the listing, it looked like an immaculate cozy cottage and a beautiful lake surrounded by woods. That’s exactly what we had. So pleased to find such an extremely clean cottage! The living area was cozy with a nice warm gas fireplace, the beds were so comfortable, there was a campfire area complete with chairs by the lake, a deck to sit out on to enjoy the area, a pier with ample space for sitting and relaxing, and on top of that, a clean gas grill to use! This cottage was close enough to Minocqua, Boulder Junction, Sayner, Eagle River and St. Germain that I could do all the exploring, hiking, bike riding, kayaking and of course shopping that I needed. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay In the Northwoods.
