"Room was not clean. Bathroom needed a lot of renovations. Breakfast Room needs renovations. Staff was friendly."

"Nice place, quiet except for the train tracks 200 yards behind it. Not a big deal just some rumbling and horn in the distance. I loved the diner in the lobby, great breakfast, real scoops of ice cream and even dinner items all at a reasonable price."

"We had to be there for Easter morning and the staff set up easter eggs before we got there so our 2 year old could find them! The staff was incredibly friendly! The hotel was clean and great to be at. "

"Very nice. Lots of space. Great for a large family or group. Lots of stairs, but we knew that because this is our second time staying. Plan on reserving for next year too."

"Beautiful, comfortable house in the country but only 15 minutes from Fort Scott, a quaint little town with cobblestone streets and a handful of wonderful boutiques. Our son plays baseball there and this was a great place to stay. He came out and stayed with us to get away from the college for a few days. We cooked him some meals, played pool, watched movies. So relaxing. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms pristine. There’s even a heater in the master bath! The owner was very responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a little getaway, this is THE place to stay! "
