Great wedding retreat

Came in town for a wedding and loved the location! It was close to the venue and there was so much to do in town! Restaurants, breweries, and so much more to see and do around town, and most was easily in walking distance. The apartment was very clean and I always love having the feel of a house over being in a hotel! Would 100% recommend.

Perfect location

The location is walking to many restaurants, ball park, town square, and parks. The home is clean and roomy! The owners were quick to respond to any question i had and were kind enough to allow early entry when a rainy day changed our plans! I would come again!!

Great apartment with walking distance to many BG shops/restaurants!

Wonderful apartment for my family of 5. We are all adults and had plenty of space. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to the park and the restaurants/shops about a block away and catching a baseball game for the 4th of July. Highly recommend staying here.

Clean, centrally located

The property was very clean, well taken care of and had plenty of paper products. Keurig was available with pods which was a as nice touch. We had trouble with the lock once (my fault) and the owner was available immediately and was very helpful! Property is walking distance to downtown with shops and dining. We had a great time!

Nice spot

We brought our family because my daughter was doing a college visit at WKU the space was nice. Spacious and clean. There was no extra toilet paper, no broom to clean up, and the communication after check in wasn’t great luckily we didn’t really need anything and none of this affected our stay. We would stay again because of the location to the school and spacious lay out

Bluegrass Getaway Suite Downtown Bowling Green

WOW! Way more than we expected! A great home 2 1/2 BIG Bedrooms, 2 FULL BATHS, a nice Kitchen with modern and great working appliances (Incl. a Keurig with both pods and a traditional coffee pot), parking in the lot, a few board games to choose from, walking distance to Fountain Square (3 blocks), 10 minute drive to I-65. Avoid Scottsville at rush hour. Easy to find your way around, Corvette Museum, Nashville, Mammoth Cave are all a short drive away. Only drawback was the stairs up to the unit.

We had a great experience at this property. The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from WKU and the location was perfect. It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood and it was an easy walk to campus.

Just what we needed - mostly

Very cute and clean property in a super cute little town square. Within walking distance to several eating establishments which was very helpful after being in the car all day. We did hear a lot of street noise and even snoring from next door. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee. That would have been totally fine if I had known to plan for that. Which is the only reason I mention it here. Be prepared to supply your own coffee. We would stay here again knowing that we need to bring a couple of extra things. Overall a very nice stay.

After being denied an early check-in, we arrived at 4 pm and the code did not work. Messaged owner and called the number provided. Called VRBO, they attempted to contact the owner with no luck. They told us the code which was not the last 4 of my phone number as it was suppose to be but that code did not work either. We dealt with this for two hours meanwhile had to buy a cooler for the groceries that we thought were going in the rental while we were waiting to get in. We had an event at 6 m that evening and could not shower after traveling all day. We ended up booking another place and have requested a full refund. The owner was aggressive in her response after 8 pm that night stating that this doesn’t call for a full refund and that they were busy. She stated it was their internet not allowing for the code to work. Overall a very stressful situation that is not over yet.

Great location!

We were in town for a WKU graduation and this property was a great location. The apartment has a nice floor plan once you get up the stairs. Full kitchen utensils, you will need to bring any extras i.e. salt/pepper. We also had to buy hand soap. Comfortable beds!

We were impressed by this rental unit, the layout, flooring and furniture is great. The bathrooms are top notch. Everything was really clean and the beds were comfortable. Having a washer and dryer is really helpful and they provide laundry soap and dryer sheets. The location was great and within walking distance to the small downtown area, you can walk to the Mellow Mushroom Pizza place and Insomnia Cookies Thanks for a great stay!

Gross and Property Not Well Kept

When we got there, the doors were so dirty and disgusting, I didn’t even want to touch them to go in. There was a HUGE stain on the floor in the master bedroom, stains on the towels provided for use, and no soap to wash your hands. There were stains on the couch and ottoman, so you couldn’t even sit down. The place overall was not clean. We booked it for two nights to visit the National Corvette Museum. We left and had to find somewhere else to stay. We weren’t comfortable staying considering how dirty and not well kept it was. I let the owner know, and they offered to get the cleaning crew out there to clean it to my standards. We had already found another place to stay at that point, and there was nothing the cleaning crew could have done to make us feel comfortable there. I asked for a full refund given the circumstances, and the owner refused. Now, I understood why they don’t do refunds. Obviously, my cleaning standards differ from theirs. Such a huge disappointment and a horrible day.

Good morning. Thank you for checking. We actually have a few issues. A couple of the outlets aren’t working so we’re unable to use the lamps in each room. When we checked in the rental was unclean. Hair and dust on beds, hair and dust on floors, cobwebs, hair and something that looked like blood in bathrooms. Stains on the furniture and carpet. I had to clean it myself before my family or I felt comfortable. There was no broom and mop so I had to go out and purchase them. The deck and the chairs could have been cleaned. It’s a nice place but for future clients and better reviews, better preparation of cleanliness would give more success. Thank you for your attention.
