"Didn’t use amenities so I can’t say. The hotel was clean overall. Our room and bathroom was well kept, except the tub. As you showered, you can feel peeling of old soap lifting off the bottom of the tub. Staff was nice and allowed us to check in early since there were available rooms. If there weren’t any, they were willing to allow us to check in luggage until check-in time. Microwaves are in the lobby only. Very close to the mall, 7 min walk. Expensive to Uber to NY, between $90-$120. You can take cheaper alternative transportation if you like. Shuttle to airport provided every 15 mins. Lots of pilots and flight attendants stayed at this location."

"I read reviews, so had low expectations. Given that, this place was fine for my needs. Room was clean, no bugs. Decent guy running the place. Would have appreciated a towel, but was 3 am by time I realized there was none, so didn't ask. TV remote same; couldn't find a switch on the box. Though room was clean enough, cleaner smell was heavy; window didn't open, so I had to open door for a good while to circulate air. Road noise is a lot as folks said, but that doesn't bother me. Address, Maple but actual entrance facing US1, plus changing names of motel, can be confusing for rideshare drivers, so be ready to clarify location; my first got close then canceled. There are motels closer to EWR, but this one was cheaper; however, for future reference, it might be possible to walk from EWR to Motel 6. Bus here to Rest Inn was tricky, but just $3 +transfer or mile walk, and Uber from EWR wanted $70."

"I feel the property was a decent deal. I wasn’t comfortable leaving my car parked on the street, so I opted to pay for a garage around the corner. Not a heck of a lot better, but made me feel better in the end. The place was clean and there was plenty of room. When we arrived at 10:00 pm it was 85 degrees because the window unit ACs were not on. It took a while to get comfortable. Be prepared as a traveler, there are not a lot of utensils and kitchen supplies. No toaster, paper towels, and little things like a wine cork screw. The kitchen cupboards are pretty bare. It worked fine for our trip and we did have fun."
