"A place to stay when you require no extras— no pool, no gym, no ironing board, no breakfast. Microwave and fridge included. But very budget priced and clean. Comfortable bed, lots of space and decent toiletries. Balcony overlooking the water was amazing! I would stay here again. We just wanted a place to stay before heading to Mackinac island. Friendly checking and out."

"It was an awesome experience! The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. It's a beautiful and private little rustic getaway. The mosquitos and flies weren't even an issue, considering how wooded the area is. The decor is charming. We had a lovely time. The owners provided everything needed for the retreat. The privacy is amazing! Our only very minor issue was the bed in the cabin. It's comfortable on both sides, but not in the middle. I'm not sure if it's a king size or two twins put together. But we're not used to sleeping that far apart... Please don't let this discourage you in any way; it was well worth the stay. The upside is that our dog had a whole lot of space between us! The shower and bathroom at the guesthouse are clean and charming, as is the coffee service area. Despite the bed being a little on the rough side, we still give it five stars! We'll probably go again next summer. Enjoy!"
