If natural beauty, space, and privacy are your vices, look out! This comfortable three-bedroom, two-bathroom house sits on one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous pieces of land the Finger Lakes Region has to offer. Nestled directly between the Keuka and Seneca wine regions, this sixty-four-acre estate is surrounded by ten thousand acres of state land, yet is only fifteen minutes from Hammondsport, twenty minutes from Corning, and seven minutes from Watkins Glen International Race Course.
Plenty of beautiful space awaits where you can cook out on the grill, use the outdoor pizza oven, enjoy meals on the deck, roast marshmallows or drink wine by the firepit, play yard games, including beanbag toss, ax throwing (plastic), and fishing equipment, or hunt for berries and wildflowers, and simply enjoy the seclusion. This land is home to two natural springs, a stream, White and Red Pine, Maple, Black Walnut, and other regional trees. Deer, wild turkey, hummingbirds, and other Finger Lakes wildlife will be your only neighbors. View meteor showers, birdwatch, sit by the stream and try the included fishing equipment, or hike for hours through the woods without ever leaving the land.
On colder evenings, cuddle up and gaze out at the vibrant fall colors, multitudes of stars, or giant snowflakes gently gliding into the pines.
The house features an ample kitchen with a breakfast cove overlooking colossal white pines, a separate dining room, and a living room. The three bedrooms sleep six comfortably (eight if you’re cozy), and also include a travel baby crib. There is plenty of outdoor parking.

Very remote, quiet location. Off of a dirt road so car got dirty. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Saw deer and other animals in the back yard. We enjoyed the plastic axe throwing game and the cornhole game. Nice interior as well with almost everything you need for a nice stay. Only negative thing to say is the water from the one bathroom sink had a sulfur smell, but the rest of the water seemed fine. Recommended and close to Watkins Glen and many other scenic locations.
Wine and Roses is a very cute house. It is on the small size, but that was fine with us. There is a master bedroom with a small bathroom (handicap bars in the shower!). The two other bedrooms are a nice size. The hall bath is small, but more than adequate. This is an older home with older furnishings. A few of the sofas and chairs were covered. Our dogs are well trained and do not get on furniture or beds, but the coverings didn't bother us, either. The best part is that the house is on a huge expanse of land. Our dogs loved it, as did my husband and me. My husband was thrilled to see stars! The pantry could be a little more adequately stocked, considering the closest "grocery" is a gas station "mart." A real grocery is at least 30 minutes away. But, that would not deter us from renting this house again. I am currently in a wheelchair, and I really appreciated the accessibility of the house.
Beautiful rural setting. Older home.well-equipped in general

Artistic rustic getaway.
The house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. They have included fun touches like a plastic axe throwing set and cornhole as well as a fire pit with wood available on site. The kitchen is adequately equipped. Surrounded by woods, you get to see lots of deer, squirrels, and groundhogs.

Cozy house. Perfect for a 2 couple get away.
The house is central (30 minutes to Corning, Watkins Glen and Lake Kauka communities. The property was clean and met our needs. The four star rating has more to do with its rural location. The nearest full size grocery store is also 30 minutes away. Located on a hilltop, it has a beautiful view. If we ever revisit the area I would rent this house again.
The house was cozy, clean and met our needs. We were a group of 4 that rented for an extended weekend to explore the area. It is 30 minutes from Corning, Watkins Glen and Keuka Lake. It is a rural location. Renters need to be aware that the closest full-service grocery store is also 30 minutes away. If we return for another visit to the area we would rent this house again.

Wine and roses home
It was immaculately clean . It had everything that you would need there. Air conditioners in bedrooms would be helpful. Love the fire pit and the lights along the driveway! It was a quiet and serene experience allowing relaxation! Loved it!
