"The Difference is in the Details. We stay in a lot of VRBO's. We view our travel as an investment, and we do our research before we rent. I can say without wavering that the cabin we entered not only matched the pictures but exceeded them. This was absolutely the perfect place for the weekend celebration of our 50th wedding.I wanted somewhere out of the way, quiet and peaceful, while still close to activities. You're twenty minutes or less from downtown Hot Springs, where we ate nightly at great restaurants. A lot to do there, but we came with our stand-up paddleboards to hit some of the clearest lakes in the Southeast. Following Cinda's recommendation, we paddled Lake Ouachita, only 8 miles away from the cabin. What a great lake! Even on Saturday, with multiple boats and waves, we could find hidden, shady coves to relax and enjoy the clean, clear water. We even had a bald eagle fly over us!Bottom line, this is a great property for couples. Our only regret is that, unknown to us, the temps would be in the 100s. But I must say, on top of that mountain, it was never insufferable. Plus the cabin's AC kept us cool indoors. I would have loved to hike many of the trails that run by their property, and we might need to do that in the fall when its cooler! Great property and great, very communicative hosts!! If you are into SUP, this is a great landing place after a day on the many clear lakes of the Hot Springs area. Five stars all around!! Mark Brooks (I wrote this, NOT AI!)"

"Loved the location and the cottage - I do wish there was a note about the construction going on. There was no pool available for use and the marina didn’t open until Thursday- so they were open Thursday - Sunday and we arrived on a Monday. It’s a tiny home so I understand not wanting too much furniture etc in the small space but I’d definitely recommend a small coffee table for in front of the couch! Also, maybe note that there is no WiFi at the cottages (tiny town) it was fine for us - we still had some service etc - but if you’re planning to try to work remote from here it may not be the place. It was a lovely stay and the people were all very nice."

"This was a surprise anniversary trip for my husband. There were 12 of us total with room to spare! Walking distance to the dock where tied the boat. Host was very responsive. I would definitely book this house again!!!"
