    The idyllic Kirnberg Lake in Unterbränd, known as the warmest bathing lake in the Southern Black Forest and featuring beautiful beaches, is just a few minutes’ walk away. The excellent water quality makes this 125-hectare oasis in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park a paradise for swimmers, water sports enthusiasts, and anglers. The convenient location is also perfect for excursions to Feldberg, Titisee, Schluchsee, the Triberg and Todtnau waterfalls, the Danube source in Donaueschingen, or the nearby Wutach Gorge—one of the Black Forest’s most impressive natural wonders. In winter, you can reach numerous ski slopes and trails quickly.
