***************
INSIDE Open the door to our log cabin and smell that fresh pine scent. This log home is filled with classic cabin decor and modern amenities to make you feel cozy and right at home. The open floor plan with a loft (with two comfy queen log beds) that over looks the main living area and kitchen space creates a great vibe. Put the kids up top while the parents take the spacious master bedroom on the main floor. Just you and your significant other? No problem, this layout works great for a couple or a family! A full bathroom is located on the main floor and also in the loft that are pridefully kept spotless, along with the rest of the unit. In the kitchen I have included all the essentials to make and/or enjoy a meal inside and outside. There is also a table next to the kitchen and on the patio for dining or computer work while using the fast wifi. Need to relax and just want to hang? Or maybe it's raining outside...No worries, grab a seat in the living room on the cushy couch next to an electric fireplace, play one of our many games, surf the internet, or stream your favorite shows on the TV that is ready for you to connect to with your favorite streaming accounts. Upstairs in the loft, there are a number of DVDs for adults and kids as well.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, THE MAIN FLOOR OF THE CABIN HAS A HEATED FLOOR! Sure to create a cozy vibe come winter time.
Consumables Included: During your stay there will be fresh towels, shampoo/body wash, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap and bleach, coffee, coffee filters, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, assortment of spices, trash bags, makeup remover and pads, cotton swabs.
Conveniences: air conditioning and fans, coffee maker, blender, toaster, hair dryer, hair curler, hair straightener, full length mirror, TV with DVD player in loft, assortment of DVDs that appeal to adults and kids, board games. Also, water in home is well water. BUT, all water in home passes through a water softener AND whole home water filter and is thus ready to drink!
OUTSIDE Paradise North has a large patio with a built in grill for entertaining family and friends. Not eating? Sit on the patio picnic table while getting some work done or just simply enjoying a great book and cup of coffee. A hot tub is located just outside the back door and is wonderful for stargazing at the end of the day year round. There is also a bonfire area with plenty of seating for cozying up and roasting s'mores with your companions.
NEARBY Less than a 5 min walk or quarter mile down the road is the only bar/restaurant on the lake. Paradise Bar & Grill is a classic northern dive bar that has great food and drinks, a pool table, darts, and pull tabs. Additionally, it has a large patio with seating in the summertime and routinely has events going on through out the year. (Check out their FB page to see what's coming up next.) This bar stays busy in the winter time as well as it is at the intersection of multiple snowmobile trails and serves as lunch spot for those passing through. This bar is fantastic when you don't feel like cooking, need a drink, or just looking for something to do during your stay.
So, want a little time away? Sick of your four walls? Come on up and experience the "Up North" vibe, the loons are calling you :)

Host was very responsive, many ammenities included in the cupboards like spices, lots of extra blankets, board games, and well maintained/clean! Perfect cabin getaway
Had a wonderful peaceful stay at this property. Close to bar and grill and great lake. The cabin was beautiful and very well stocked. Would stay here again.
The propertly is located in a beautiful area. The restaurant is within a couple minutes walk away. There are dishes, utensils, pots and pans, games, towels, and anything else that you may need while staying.
Had everything we needed, was clean and comfy. Loved the location, quiet but not isolated. Enjoyed some delicious fries and beers at the restaurant which you can walk to. Beds were comfy and clean. Plenty of room for the 3 of us.
Cute, clean, quiet and comfortable home. We enjoyed the hot tub, walking to the nearby bar/restaurant and snuggling in to watch a movie while it lightly snowed outside. We would stay here again!
We had an amazing stay in Brainerd! The cabin looks exactly like it does in photographs. There was a nice view of the lake too (especially since there were no leaves on the trees in late March). We had 3 people but there was definitely room for more! Lots of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
My family spent two nights in this beautiful cabin. It was equipped with everything we needed and was in close proximity to ATV trails. We’d love to return!
Great place to stay during a snow storm! We loved the hot tub. Very cute place with everything you need. We even walked down to the bar/restaurant and enjoyed our time there as well.
Super nice, tucked away little cabin. Hot tub was great to use and the rest of the place was really comfortable! Sometimes water pressure got a little iffy, but that’s just part of having a mid-size group of people using one well. Overall, very pleased with the stay here!
We stayed here over Christmas and it was perfect. Just what we wanted. Everything was just as pictured. Clean, cozy cabin! We played games (some that were provided) and watched moves. We enjoyed the hot tub 2 of the nights. I would recommend this place to others.
Perfect get away to see the fall colors. Enjoyed a short car ride to Nisswa. The cabin was perfect for a friend gathering. The hot tub and grill were amazing perks. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy
Cabin is ADORABLE! Beds comfy. Hot tub and grill are great additions. this cute place has everything you could need.1min walk to fun cute bar, we had fun getting apps & playing darts. Took us an hr to get up the driveway, as we came during a mn snowstorm but we were happy to find shovels lol. if u hot tub it in eve the deer come through the back yard and its a fun show
We enjoyed our stay at Paradise North. The cabin is a short but enjoyable drive to Brainerd. We walked down to the Paradise Resort Bar a couple times for a beer and a game of pool. The cabin is nicely setup. It had coffee, toilet paper, paper towels and fresh bath towels. We had an issue with the spa, but Garret was quick to respond and took care of the issue. I would stay here again but I do wish the cabin had direct lake access.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, however we were disappointed to find the hot tub had not been cleaned…it was too yucky to use. This was one of the main reasons we booked this cabin. The cabin was clean inside, and had clean linens and towels. We did have to spend some time cleaning the grill prior to using it. The bathroom on the main floor was lovely, we just had to be careful where we stood in the shower as some of the rocks on floor are sharp. We had no issues with the tv. But did find it hard to get comfy on the main floor bed and the couch as they are overly soft to sit/lie on. Our host was great! Very accommodating. But for the price we paid for 2 nights, we were disappointed.

Very Relaxing Weekend
It was a very relaxing weekend and the place is beautiful and very well decorated. We utilized the beautiful deck often and the hot tub was just what we needed. That being said, there were a couple things that should be looked at/noted. First of all, this is not a secluded site. It is in a neighborhood and you do have neighbors. The pictures make it look more secluded. There is no close access to the water. There are no curtains/blinds on the large deck windows and three out of the five front windows either didn’t have any blinds or they did not work. The lower level bedroom and bathroom curtains are sheer and totally see-through. If it was more secluded, this would not be a problem. I’m sure when the trees are all full of leaves, it is a little more secluded, but when we went, the trees were still bare. Some of the kitchen utensils and pans need replacement or updating and there were no dish cloths or scrub brush available. We did have an Internet issue and it took several hours to hear back from the host. We’re not sure if all the jets in the hot tub were working as they were supposed to, but we still enjoyed it very much. There is no sink next to the grill as it shows in the picture. We did go into Brainerd to Northland Arboretum and went on a 3 1/2 mile hike and stopped at the Paradise restaurant on the way back, which was very enjoyable, and then enjoyed the hot tub and the stars afterwards. Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing weekend in a beautiful place.
