"The room was absolutely gorgeous. The neighbors were very friendly. The experience we had was traumatizing. We checked in our Waterfront Cabin on Friday, July 3 at 3:45pm. J We had a couple walk into our cabin into our bedroom around 4:00am, shining flashlights in our eyes. We asked a couple to leave our cabin and the property because my husband and I did not know this couple. We spoke to the owners about it, and he told us he would look into it, and said he was just as surprised as we were. The...

Baymont by Wyndham Jackson/Ridgeland

8/10 Good

"The property was old and not in the area we expected. It was ok. The hair dryer in our room was very old and burned out. One of those that is wired into the bathroom wall. When I turned it on it literally started smoking. I reported it and they did bring me a hair dryer to use. I made sure all the staff was aware of the issue as I felt it was a safety/fire hazard. Oh, and I had to use my cellphone because the house phone was dead. When we were headed to the hotel, the first directions (from hotels.com) took us to a field in the middle of no where and told us to park and walk to the destination!! Then I looked up the address and used it. It took us right to the hotel which was a few miles away. Overall, not our best experience but as I said, it was ok."

Prado Hotel

8/10 Good

"This is our third time to stay at this location since it changed from Drury to Prado. The first two times you would not have known there had been a change of ownership except one Kick Back meal was different. However, this time there were several new faces at the front desk and in the food service. Although they did their job, they were not of the same attitude and friendliness as the "old" staff. Another observation was that most exit doors were not clean. While this may not seem like a big deal, to me it is an indicator that in the future the cleanliness of the rooms may drop too. If you are staying in rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor that surround the open space of the lobby, be prepared for a noisy night. It seems there is not a curfew for activity in the lobby and the sounds carries up the open spaces. Our last stay it was between midnight and 1 am before the noise stopped. Another difference from other times that we have been placed in rooms in those areas. Yes, it could just be a difference of guest who were utilizing the motel at the two different times. But 11 pm noise from the lobby - when there is a desk clerk hearing it Another observation was rather than the stray cats running like crazy when a guest walked down the sidewalk or opened an exterior door, one was peacefully lying at the front entrance sleeping. I don't hate cats - I own one. I understand strays and their need for food. But cats who become comfortable around doorways are a risk and liability."

Imperial Suites - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"No fireplace, the room was clean. The parking was decent. The staff was so sweet room had wonderful AC. Everything was clean and smell wonderful only complaint is that there were so many so many cigarette burns on the comforter that we had even though it was clean there were a lot of holes all over it from cigarette burns is what it looks like . It I didn’t remove the sheets on top and bottom to even look at the comforter, I would’ve never seen it, but there are so many. I did address the issue and the employee that was working at the moment said that they will look into it and maybe get rid of it hopefully."
