"This place holds an incredible position, of that there is no doubt. The name is for real. A few steps down and you are indeed right on the bay of Kotor and right on the promenade of Perast. But as a family who didn’t want to eat out every night, the apartment with garden comes with a flaw. It provides a kitchenette, but no table in the apartment. The garden, which is aside from the apartment is unkept, has an old table which was unclean from the surrounding vegetation and only seats 2 when the apartment can hold two adults and two children. Having said that the gentleman who maintains the property and looks after the guests is very accommodating and helpful. If arriving with a rental car there is parking, but it is tricky. Leave keys with the hosts would be my advice. They may have to move your car, and you might need to call on them to move the cars of those guests blocking you in. Comfortable bedroom."

"Lovely rooms - really clean and the interior and decor was perfect and modern, loved the finished in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, definitely book in advance for dinner in the evenings as it gets very busy (for a good reason as the food was nice!). We did not book and whilst they kindly fit us in, it was a very long wait for food and drinks. Waiting staff were absolutely lovely but it does take a long time to get served at times, even during the day when it was quieter. Food was tasty though, authentic mountain Montegren options and the breakfast was outstanding, great range. Staff were very accommodating when we had food poisoning and had to stay an extra night, they were really excellent and understanding when we explained our circumstances and just wanted some simple food to order to the room - they were quick with that request. Location wise, it’s only 20 minute walk to Zagreb but it is on quite a busy road so views weren’t as gorgeous as other hotels but still only 20 minutes drive from Durmitor national Park and Blake Lake."

"We had a fabulous stay at Conte!! From the moment Dragan met us at the car park, we were well looked after :-) we had a 2 bedroom apartment, access to the pool and breakfast was brilliant and overlooked the gorgeous Kotor Bay. Our kids were very sad to leave! I would highly recommend Conte if you are visiting Perast."

"Hi, this is a great location if you want to be out of the way, it's right by the river and the hosts were very friendly. Food is a little limited if you choose to eat on site, but I would definitely recommend a stay here"

"Appartement avec une vue magnifique et parfaitement équipée (bien que le lit double gangenrait à etre plus grand et plus confortable tout comme le matelas du canapé) mais pour le reste c’est extraordinaire ! Je recommande sans reserve !"

"A very modern hotel with lovely staff. Everyone from the hotel manager to the cleaning staff are friendly and they go out of there way to help you. Lovely rooms with plenty of space and a balcony facing the pool. The pool is open 8am to 8pm with a lifeguard."
