Starting in the fall and throughout the winter, its cosy wood-burning stove is perfect for letting yourself be lulled by the crackling of the flames—a sight that’s easy to get lost in. Your upstairs bedroom offers a second relaxation area and a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower enclosure. The second bedroom, overlooking the courtyard, will soothe you with its green tones. You’ll also appreciate the first rays of sunshine as they appear on your private rooftop terrace, which opens onto the courtyard of this traditional Richelais-style property and the surrounding fields. About a quarter of an hour from the Château du Rivau and the Château de Monts-sur-Guesnes (Historial du Poitou), and 30 minutes from Chinon.
