  • Formerly part of the province of Poitou, the Pays de Richelieu is now part of Touraine. Famous for its city with the unique architecture that the Cardinal wanted to house his court, Richelieu is only 5km from here. For history buffs, this place is absolutely unmissable. Your cottage is a real cocoon and its interior atmosphere as well as its superb environment will seduce you. From autumn and throughout the winter, its pleasant fireplace with bioethanol stove is ideal for letting yourself be lulled by the crackling of the flames by which you can easily be hypnotised. Your upstairs bedroom offers a second relaxation area and a superb bathroom. The sun's rays will be very much appreciated as soon as they first appear in your private space opening onto the courtyard of this typical Richelais property and magnificently restored. About 1/4 hour from the castle of Rivau and the castle of Monts-sur-Guesnes (Historial du Poitou), 30 minutes from Chinon.

Une belle découverte

J'ai decouvert un vrai havre de paix ...apres une petite route boisee et la rencontre de quelques chevreuils... on arrive au gite aussi accueillant que sa propriétaire. Le lieu et decore avec gout et authenticité. Tout est clean vous n'avez plus qu'a poser vos valises et profiter. Je garde l'adresse pour mes prochains sejours dans la region.
