"Remarkable property, grand spaces, pool overlooking wine covered hills.
Ask for corner room if possible, it came with small balcony and views from multiple directions.
The Quinta is located at the end of the most interesting winding road up from Pinhao."
"Room was clean with beautiful views. Pool and property were nice and on-site restaurant was convenient. Bed was comfortable too. Rui was an excellent host!"
"A definite must stay if you are visiting the Duoro Valley. It is a small slice of paradise once you enter the red door. Manuel was so kind and helpful. The wine paired dinner (for a cost) was delicious and very informative. Highly recommend you book here. "
"A stunningly beautiful area and property. We had a lovely tour of the museum and winery with a wine tasting immediately after the tasting. We stayed 2 nights and both breakfast and dinner were delicious!"
"Good value for money hotel in Douro wine region. Little town from where you can discover the surrounding hills, viewpoints and Douro. Rooms were clean, decent and had proper bathroom."
"Beautiful farm...people were very helpful...lovely setting...and great wines and information about wines and ports. Only issue was finding the place...they do not have a sign at the entrance to the property."
"If traveling by car, this is a splendid place to stay in the Duro Valley. Staff and room were very nice. A wonderful breakfast was included, which seems to be a vanishing practice in Europe these days. The hotel offers diner (not included) as well. The town of Tabuaco is quite small so dining options near by are limited. We would stay there again."
"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!"

"An excellent guest house/hotel, family run and beautiful breakfasts and dinners.
The swimming pool was great and much appreciated in the heat. There is a local snack bar within 100 yards good for a small lunch"
"the room accommodations, and deck area were outstanding! the staff was amazing, Rau who manages the entire property in the evening was gracious and helpful. Loved our say, will be back!"
"The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again. "
"Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, spacious room with windows on two sides. Good breakfast. Nice area outside for eating al fresco in the evening. Centrally located."
"An absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Our hosts were truly wonderful, very attentive and accommodating for our stay.
Sitting at the pool, reading and spending time taking in the breathtaking views with a bottle of wine.
We particularly enjoyed the tour and wine tasting session - the family are passionate about their wine!"
