"A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here. We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. "We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room we were allocated was great with a superb view of the first tee and 18th green. The restaurant and bar service were very good. The dined in the hotel restaurant in the evening and for breakfast and the food was excellent and the breakfast choice was equally as good. Overall...we shall be back!"
